Let’s not forget McConnell wouldn’t even hold hearings on Obama’s choice (Garland - a solid nomination) for almost 300 days.
Because regardless of how trivial his transgressions from back then might be today, his lying under oath to the Senate about not discussing Ramirez’s allegations before they became public, and specifically to attempt to surreptitiously corral potential witnesses to back him up when he publicly denies it, — meaning, he perjured himself *and* attempted witness tampering — should be a death knell to his appointment to SCOTUS.
