Nadal has received multiple coaching warnings. He doesn't even argue, just gets back to his routine and down to the business or competing. Why didn't Serena do the same? Because she was losing and is a horrible poor sport.

FTR I don't care if any rules were broken. At this level, how much difference could it make? Not allowing a coach to coach is silly.

Are you're saying the coach was sending signals and Serena had no idea this was happening? Because that's the only way it would not take two to cheat/break the rules. And if he was sending signals and Serena was unaware of this then she had a right to be upset and should fire that coach a.s.a.p. Which means I am correct. It takes two to cheat in this instance.
You're talking about something different. For the cheat to be effective she would have to see what he was doing, maybe she did anyway? It's also seems certain that he would have kept coaching until she saw unless she was warned for it. But that's not the rule, the rule is clear and to be fair to Osaka it must be implemented when it's caught. The player's box can't coach. Serena wouldn't have received any further penalties if she just shut up and played on. But she was losing, she is a poor sport and she threw a fit. Once again, she isn't the first player to get a warning for coaching, it happens plenty to men and women.

She has 2 kids? Said one was six and the one she just had. Shes all over the place doing damage control like anyone is going to believe she was standing up for wommens rights. She had a koolaid smile grinning from ear to ear.

14 men vs 5 women received warnings for the exact same coaching infraction this US Open but somehow it's sexism. 25 men fined during the open and 10 women, once again claims of sexism. Cries that men aren't punished for similar behaviour. The facts and data clearly indicate otherwise.

There are real examples of sexism our there but there is also hysteria. Accusations of sexism are everywhere and people who hold this world view come up with a narrative that fits it. What happens when the numbers and data don't back it up? I'd like to see Serena answer to the 14 men called for the coaching infraction vs 5 women.

Data from the last 20 years of slams.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/te...y-Katrina.html

    Racket abuse: Men 646 – Women 99

    Audible obscenity: 344 – 140

    Ball abuse: 49 – 35

    Coaching violations: 87 – 152

    Unsportsmanlike conduct: 287 – 67

    Verbal abuse: 62 – 16

    Visible obscenity: 20 - 11

Men get warned nearly 3-1 vs the women. Ramos warned more men in the US Open than women by 3-1. Many women on tour have also now come out and said Serena's claims of sexism are nonsense. The ITF has apologized to Ramos and he is in the chair for Davis Cup this weekend which is great. Behind the scenes the USTA has also apologized to Ramos but a public apology would be even better.

What annoys me the most is Serena was messing with a man's livelihood and job. The way he puts food in the fridge for his family all over a temper tantrum. In this day and age people have their careers ended over claims of sexism on the regular but Serena didn't give a shit.
