Drank way too much Gin one Friday night and had to go to work the next day. Had a horrible hangover. Barely made it through the day. Never got that drunk again. Never touched Gin again. May have kept me from becoming an alcoholic. Most of the guys I ran around with when I was a kid probably are now.

And simlarly, whenever something sexual arises, it never actually ends up happening (all the way) in the dream. Except for this one time - I actualluy had a real orgasm in a dream once, and then I woke up and realized I had had it in real life as well. But there was no intercourse - I believe that one was oral sex. Still, at least I "got some" in a dream once.
One thing I have noted about my dreams; if I'm about to wake up (perhaps coming out of REM too fast for whatever reason), in whatever dream I am in at that moment, I suddenly can't walk - it's like my legs go dead under me. This makes me wonder if there isn't something to the dream theory that our dreams are an alter reality that we live in while sleeping, just as valid as the reality we know while awake. (That would explain why when stuck in that in-between stage between realities, I cannot navigate the dream environment - it's like the essence of me is being torn out of that other place.)

The only reoccurring dream I have is me alone in an old houses basement. I am keenly aware there is a ghost or presence in the basement with me. Sometimes the ghost fucks with me. Sometimes I get a sense to get the fuck out of the basement. Sometimes I don't.

I might give college football a chance now that they have something resembling a proper playoff system. Before I had zero interest in meaningless bowls and voting in champions. I still expect to see undefeated teams get shut out and unpaid "student-athletes" being leeched upon, but I guess this is a step in the right direction.

One time in a dream I smoked weed with somebody and distinctly remember the feeling of being high in the dream. I even remember being mid-dream and thinking that it was bizarre to feel high while asleep. Some crazy Inception shit was going on. I even woke up sort of feeling like I was actually high the night before. This was obv psychological but still.
I did not go to bed high that night and hadn't smoked any weed for a couple of months.

I tried to like it, but it just came off to me as unfunny '90s garbage.
You compare that to classic sitcoms like "All in the Family" and it just comes up so short in every way.
I'm sure SixToedPete will also agree about All in the Family being great, because he's old. Pretty much every old person universally loves All in the Family.
On a side note, "Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane, who is my age, also loves All in the Family, to the point where he based Family Guy's theme song on it, and even once recreated the All in the Family end song for Quahog.
