"BOOT UP THE SCREEN."

I loved ep 2&3.
Dark & morally ambivelant. Music plus, plus.
I suspend my belief. I buy into the characters and the world the writers have created. I am transported.
Then you trot out Mark Cuban. Why? To add some sort of veracity to their construct? You worked so hard to engage me and then stoop to such shallow manipulation. It just leaves me insulted.
If Cuban said something provocative or insightful or added fuck all anything.... instead Cuban is left looking like an extra. Exactly who the fuck wins? Not Cuban and not me.
Fact collided with fiction. I guess that is the simple objection I have. You would think this would be some basic rule of writing.
I understand the writers interviewed actual billionaire hedge fund guys while doing research. Did they actually trade some cameo for a good story from Cuban? It wasn’t worth it. That would be a lose lose trade. Those are hard to find.
I quickly forgot the scene which is a credit to the strength of the rest of the episode.
Like Robbins - don’t let reality intrude. I don’t need fucking audience participation. Facts can inspire but you don’t want to align too closely with fact - it won’t survive the scrutiny.

I am beginning to despise Dake but his blue suit was dope.
its just so predictable.
literally the whole show is a random character makes an appalling decision in each episode. thats it. thats this whole show. thats what they want us to call plot development.
and if youre lucky they trot out mark cuban to remind us that this show is literally nothing but Entourage for moneyfags.

Carnivale was God! Too bad they shit themselves when he raped the shit out of that parishoner.
Today at church learned that we receive Grace from God because Jesus died for our sins. We cannot earn Grace it is a gift. We do good things because of Grace, not to earn it, but to glorify the gift.
People that have died and came back said they only heard the good things they did in life, for the bad does not matter.
Watching IT fuck was not enjoyable fyi
Whose Gorin again?
not a bad episode tonight.

Can someone explain why Dake got the ax?
Absolutely no fucking clue, I'm guessing the other irrelevant character dimed him out for fudging the investigation away from Chuck/wife.
I mean honestly I was wondering the same for like literally half a second then I was like, lol shrug this fucking show and just kept on trucking.

Chuck not only shoved his entire fist in the Dr's asshole but he also fucked Dake, the one who he got the job for in the first place.
I did kinda enjoy the scene with him and his dad. Kinda sociopathic in a way considering what they both did but what father son relationship isnt complicated amirite? lol
Its a funny thing because I want to sit here and be like "oh yeah I liked that and I liked the other thing too" because somehow I felt good about this ep, but when I look real closely I just realize that it had marginally less terrible dialog than the previous ep and somehow I'm like a starving man with a cracker in his mouth, talking about how this is the best cracker ever made.
