I saw that reporter from McClatchy that wrote that Prague story interviewed last night. It’s generally a solid news source, but he struck me as a guy who was less confident at that moment he got it right than when he wrote it. He just felt shaky, like he thinks he might have fucked up on it, but has no choice but to ride it out and hope he’s right because he’s fucked either way if he’s wrong.
Trump, to me, always looks way more scared about them digging into his life circa 2008-2014 as opposed to election shit. I think he was a conduit to a whole bunch of insane money laundering type shit. It’s all kind of one issue, but I think he knows he was sloppy at one point before he thought he’d be president and it makes him nervous as fuck.

Anyone who grew up in NYC in the 80s knew that Trump was way, way, way deeper into organized crime than literally any politician on earth. NYC real estate titans in that day and age were severely embedded in the international money laundering scene, just for starters, and Trump was basically a living cliche about it.
