It was childish to an extent but I don't blame Connor. This was blowback for khabib and his guys cornering his teammate when he was alone and paying the video. You have expect an insane response because he's been catered to for most of not all of his UFC career.

I'd expect a response sure but this was too much even for crazy Conor.

Artem shouldn't have been there considering he is fighting this weekend but I'm sure the 50k or whatever he was going to get for his fight McGregor will cut him a check for.

Total is now three fights that won't happen on Saturday thanks to this incident.

Lightweight Michael Chiesa (14-3) has since been pulled from a scheduled bout against Anthony Pettis because of facial lacerations. Flyweight Ray Borg (11-3) has been forced out of a bout against Brandon Moreno because of an eye injury. Both injuries were allegedly caused by McGregor's actions.

And McGregor's own teammate, Artem Lobov (13-14-1), has been pulled from the event because of his participation in the incident.

like i cant see it but i will say that i was surprised how much less unlikely it seemed the more i thought about it. but i still think its a bridge too far. like literally, if this was conor just trashing cars or bank windows or something id say ok, this is the new face of advertising, but he could have legit killed someone and not just any someone; the main card was in that bus.

I think he really believes in 'the secret,' he's a megalomaniac, he's insanely rich, and nobody has said no to him in years. He sees himself as someone who'd be a king in olden times, or a warlord or whatever, and he's morphing into the image he's always wanted to project, just like scarface and chapo in his own mind, but really just a fighter who might be lucky to end up as good as Mike Tyson.

Any of these fighters that got injured (even if just a little) would be foolish to fight on Saturday. They can fight Saturday, get kicked in the head, and paid at most 50k. Or they can meet up with attorneys and retire.
