Blazers weren’t even covering Lonzo on offense. He passed up many many looks. First half he had 4pts & 3 fouls. He’s an all star

Lonzo came back on the floor at one point in the 3rd while LA had a 9pt lead ... I stared at Blazers +6 & +7 -115 and I knew I was supposed to take it. I entered once and got the spinning wheel from the guys in the little grass huts offshore.

First time I watched a Lakers game and was open to the idea I didn’t understand the formula. I should have trusted my eyes and my dark heart.

Verm, if you willingly took IT at the end of the Cavs IT debacle you are a goddamned hero. I completely understand why the DFS guy’s ahead of you wouldn’t touch him.

The IT Lakers thing is some wacky shit.

You know what was telling? The camera truck never once showed Luke Walton on the sidelines. What is this guy’s story. Wooden indian?

IT actually had a good DFS game for his price, despite not shooting well. Just not good enough to win me a tourney that had 10,000 people (but almost).

He actually has been playing very well lately (at least ofensively). His shot was just off today. Also Liliard made some insane contested 3's at the end of the game to get the comeback. I think this game was more about Lilliard taking over the game than anything the Lakers did, although I will say it looks like they got tight in the 4th and missed shots they should have made, especially KCP and IT.

Also, could have easily called a foul on Napier on that last 3 that IT took that would have tied it, although he was playing so tight I seriously doubt he would have made all 3 FT's anyways.

Between trades, buyouts and injuries the Lakers have no bench right now. IT was playing in the 2nd unit with Zubac and Wear. GL having a + differential if you are playing a lot of your minutes with multiple G-Leaguers.

It is actually kind of funny in a perverse way they are playing a short rotation with G Leaguers actually trying to win games while Deng is taking up a big chunk of their payroll just cruising around on a stationary bike.

As for lonzo he has played pretty damn well over the last 20-25 games. I didnt see the portland game but typically hes played well on D and his 3pt% is above 40, up from 25% prior. At some point he will most likely be an all star but superstardom is questionable.

He had a bad shooting game, especially the last couple minutes. Probably cost me $15K. So I understand as well as anyone what happened. That being said, no-one else except Kuzma was really even looking to take the shot in crunch time. The moment definitely got to the other players and they got passive.

That being said, no-one was saying anything when him and Lonzo played well on their 4 game road trip and they went 4-0.

I watch a lot of Lakers. He is a good 6th man scoring punch for them.

they for sure do not have an easy road in this one (BUT > NOVA > X), but I believe desi Rodriguez (their leading scorer) will be back which makes them a totally different team...didn't mention firing on them against NOVA because he was out and they managed to ugly the game up and cover...but they will have a fan base at MSG, their top 3 guys are seniors, and they for sure want to shove it up NOVAs ass, which is why I liked them at home against NOVA if they were at full strength...
