I was a little doubtful about that one because both teams have the tendency to inexplicably terrible, and OKC has looked a lot better lately compared to Washington.
But the numbers justified this one, and I decided to pull the trigger. Unfortunately the Thunder are looking very good so far (aside from a few sloppy turnovers), and the Wizards, who scored fewer than 80 last game, are looking horrendous.
I don't see this one happening, though you never know with OKC and their tendency to shit the bed. But being a 17-point game, and the Wizards looking awful, it's hard to imagine it coming back to 5 or fewer.
Wizards cut deficit from 19 to 8, so that's looking a bit more promising.
Knicks under starting off badly.

Washington came back and now this one looks very viable, even to win outright.
Miami are lazy and don't work hard enough in offense... I hope they lose this now my spread is dead.

12 points up halfway through the 4th quarter and you could see they started to coast and drop their effort. Sac did smash them with their shooting percentage but they made it too easy for them.
Glad they choked, they didn't deserve to win.

Day was a complete disaster. Both unders were blown out, and the only game with a chance to win was the Washington side, which was behind most of the way, and ended up also losing.
0-3 brings me down to 133-96-3.
The winning streak seems to be over. I am now 4-5 over the past 3 days, after being 18-6-1 prior to that. More importantly, only 1 of my past 9 picks has been of the "blowout correct" variety, and even that one was a sweat because of the OT (though it still won). At the same time, I've had 4 clearly decisive losses of out of those 5.
Overall, since December 31, it's been a bit of a rough road, with me being 35-34-1 over 70 picks.
I'm still feeling good, though, as I was putting up a lot of wide-margin winners in that recent winning streak, so I think today was just an anomaly.
Early NBA (more later probably:
Atlanta +7 (starting 30 min)
Utah +8 (starting 70 min)
