Speaking of true stories, Trump's ICE thugs arrested a 43 year old doctor gainfully employed a hospital today who emigrated from Poland when he was 3 years old; he will be deported to Poland, where he has no family and does not speak the language.

I'm sure his patients will be fine once the power of prayer kicks in tho.

We actually have 0 information on this situation other than ICE officials picked him up. We don't know why, and we don't know if he is in any danger of being deported. Everything you are accounting as fact is complete conjecture. This account is about as intellectually honest as a Russian operative writing Pizzagate stories. I don't disagree with you that contributing members of society who came as children should generally be put on a fast track to some sort of permanent residency/citizenship program.

That being said, I also recognize this is a very progressive idea and not one shared by very many people outside the Western world. In how many countries in the world would this even be a valid argument? 50? Do you think the average person in a country in Africa, Middle East, Asia (pick any country) would agree with this statement. I doubt it. Many of these countries you couldn't even have basic rights even if you were born there and lived your whole life there if you aren't racially indigenous, and no-one living there has any problems with this.

I have no idea what you're idea of reading is; the family says its because when he was 17 he caught some misdemeanor charges which were dismissed under a program that Trump/Sessions has decided not to honor.
