Heres a great example of a worked shoot by CM Punk. When it happened live many people were wondering if he went off script, and went into business for himself. Of course it was all planned though, if he really went into business for himself, they simply would have cut his mic.

The Benoit thing is interesting. The lapsed fan podcast did a 10 or so hour deep dive into the benoit tragedy. I listened to the whole thing. Very interesting thing that came out of that is that I am almost positive that the WWE knew that Benoit had murdered his family by like 2 pm the next day when they did the Benoit Tribute show on Raw that night, but they went ahead with the Benoit Tribute Show anyway. They later claimed that they didn't know what had happened when they started the show, but there is very very strong evidence that they did.
