I'm guessing 1step had money. Would be hilarious though if stated up from that he had no money, then was begging for the $108 appetizer at the meal anyway.
question for Drexel...did you ever figure out why the mac and cheese cost $108? that's always been the part of the story that amazed me...
Spoiler alert Blake is east coast Scott
I'd like to make some statements about Drex's tell all about Scott:
1. Did Drexel or I cheat scott? No, but the bus boy who picked the card was eyeing Drex all night and I'm pretty sure he was blowing him kisses... so not surprised his card was picked first and it was between scott and I. No but really nothing shady went on at dinner except the hour long duck bowling story.
2. Scott seemed like a nice guy, however he was playing 1-2 at the B and was complaining how he lost a pot for a portion of his bankroll.
3. Drex was nothing but nice to me and took me around the B and showed me around before I left to meet up with friends. He was a great host and I hope we get to meet up again.
Also just a PSA for some people... if $250 is going to ruin your bankroll and put you in financial issues, don't fly to Vegas 3 times in a yr OR LA to play on LATB in a 1-2 game...![]()

LOL at even thinking a sponsorship for some recreational unknown random player in 2017 is a possibility. This isn't the days of Daniel Schriber, David Ewing, Julian Powell, (wtf are these people?) etc...
If it was a secret item for regulars then asking the price of the lobster mac n cheese would have been best but still we are talking about 10% of the bill here so it could have been way worse.
If you are struggling financially flying around the country with your wife several times within a few months is incredibly stupid.
when is drex/detcord/bnp radio happening?
That duckpin thing reminded me that he "sponsored" a freeroll for 10% of his LATB winnings (which turned out to be a loss of $25). The one where you had to read duckpin off his shirt or some such.

Agree absolutely embarrassing multiple pfa members were doing this. I get that it was an expensive restaurant but still just order a few drinks and then sneak out for mcdonalds later.
Brandon is a great guy but it seems like numerous people on this forum try and take advantage of his generosity on a regular basis.
There is an old saying... fool me once. I am sure most know how the rest goes, we have all had our own mac and cheese moments.
I’m absolutely sure it’s safe to say that Bottomset would never do Drexel the way Larry and Scott did him. The nouveau riche don’t do such things.
This is why I never meet other posters
Sdouble, is this true?

Drexel - two things:
1. you are generous to a fault. I will gladly buy your dinner next time I'm in town. we will enjoy a nice bottle of La Tache' - truly amazing in and of itself;
2. you must be on the spectrum if you shipped Scott money after he acted like that and said he was busto after paying for his portion of dinner. You are not a neophyte to this game.
Glad you still contribute here and have the heart you do, but damn.
It's not even that.
The broke bums shouldn't even be making it to the table in the first place, and Drex should never be hearing WHY they can't make it. The only time Drex should be playing sugar daddy is when family or personal friends are involved.
We've all been financially embarrassed at one point or another, and it becomes human instinct to not make ourselves a financial burden in situations like this (unless you are a shameless bum)
No man worth his salt should be sat there broke in a restaurant with people they've only just met.
