    Manny Gamburyan -175

    Oli Thompson +160
    Phil De Fries -200

    Rani Yahya +135
    Josh Grispi -165

    Wagner Prado +425
    Phil Davis -650

    Nam Phan +105
    Cole Miller -135

    Main Card:

    DaMarques Johnson +165
    Mike Swick -210

    Jamie Varner -115
    Joe Lauzon -115

    Ryan Bader +250
    Lyoto Machida -350

Who do you think is the best value to take a flyer on? I'd say the 3 I bolded but not really good value IMO.

Lauzon all day over Varner, I'm pretty sure, and that's a great price on DeMarques Johnson, considering he's fighting a guy who hasn't fought a clean, healthy fight in a looong time.

I pretty much never bet on anyone who's -$170 or worse anymore.

They're playing the lead up show on Fuel right now and I have to admit that it's making me like Machida. I used to think that he was an arrogant prick, but he is coming off completely different on the interviews and when they show him and his family.

Speaking of Fuel TV, the prelims start in one hour.

Yeah, I should have included Lauzon who I think should be a clear favorite. I was thinking of an underdog & both fighters @ -115 kinda threw my thinking askew. Very good point.

While I hear you about Swick, unless there's something wrong with him that I haven't heard yet, I don't see Johnson being a real challenge. Anything could happen though.

I wonder what would happen if somebody put $20 down on every favorite. I just don't see any of the underdogs with good odds(+200)winning.
Bader@ +250 is the only one +200 who I even give any hope to & even then not much.

I think Lauzon will take Varner and his weak ass wrestling apart. Early take down and finish him in the first, good bet. I have a hard time seeing how Bader will beat Machida, I think Machida will win a boring decision where he counter punches and avoids the takedown for 3 straight rounds.

Machida knocked Rashad into lala land while counter-punching while moving backwards. I think he'll do the same to Bader.

BTW the prelims have started: http://www.vipbox.tv/watch/64944/1/u...am-online.html

    1st prelim bout

125 lbs.: Ulysses Gomez vs. John Moraga

Vicious first round KO @ 3:46. 2 perfectly executed elbows standing followed by an uppercut. Great stuff.

KO of the night candidate already. Wasn't expected that in a flyweight bout.

Yeah, I'd be down $20 already if I had bet on all the favorites. Of course I've never heard of either fighter so it's unlikely I'd bet on either one. Probably why they're on the undercard. Great KO for sure though.

I just saw the UFC 150 commercial that they are showing and I can't help but wonder why Cerrone/Guilllard is the co main event. I'm assuming that the original co-main must have been scrapped due to an injury or something. While I think it will be a good fight, it is essentially meaningless in the long run as Guillard is on the fast track to obscurity and the win really won't do much for Cerrone.

There's been a couple of really good fights so far. Better than the last PPV.

Great showing by Jamie Varner. I think that somebody forgot to tell him that he was a sacrificial lamb,

I guess Machida gets the title fight. Shogun showed up out of shape again just like the fight against Forrest Griffin. It took him way too long to finish a fight that should have been over in one round. Vera fought his heart out, but he isn't an elite class fighter.

    Well said.

You could be on FOX Sports or at least FUEL TV.

What you described is precisely what happened.

Textbook Machida. Did Bader even hit him? That was exactly how I saw that fight playing out, Bader couldn't hit him & rushes in & gets dropped.
I don't know why that happens to Shogun. I don't think he was out of shape but how can you gas yourself that quickly. It's almost as if he gets caught up in the excitement & doesn't breathe properly. I thought he was going to finish Vera in the 1st but I'll give Vera some credit because he landed some good ones of his own in every round.

Great card all around with some awesome KO's & submissions. Everybody performed except the Davis-Prado match which was a no contest due to an accidental eye poke by Davis.

I got Lauzon-Varner for FOTN, Moraga or Swick for KO, & Yahya for SOTN. I bypassed Lauzon for the sub to give him & Varner the FOTN bonus. Lauzon might get both. If they give Lauzon only the SOTN, I think FOTN will go to Rua-Vera. I do think all the fighters will at least get locker room bonuses for performing after the debacle in Calgary. It was a good show.

I went 4 for 4 with my picks but thought this card was a lot easier to pick the winners than a lot of others. Doesn't always work out that way.

Actually Cerrone is calling out Pettis saying Pettis dodging him. For one hes injured and why the fuck would he want to go backwards when after he kod OSAs crush JLo Dana said for the 2nd time hes next for the title. Dana fucked over Pettis twice and now hell end up fighting Cerrone whos awful and got beat like a red headed step child by Diaz.

If Guillard is a big dog I'd take him because Cerrones dumb enough to stand in front of him instead of taking him down and choking him out like everyone else has.
