anyway, i don't think the end game has ever been impeachment. it's to have this investigation open going into 2020 (with a possible impact on 2018) so that trump just resigns or doesn't run. obv if the house flips democrat in 2018, he's getting impeached whether he deserves it or not.
in the meantime, trump gets so embroiled in scandal, that legislators won't work with him. (this turned out to be unnecessary as republicans already won't work with him.)

I believe at this point if asked that question most people would lean towards the yes side. When anti Hillary Facebook ads are hitting literally the same amount of people that voted then how could any sane person argue that it didn't influence some decisions, and like Buster said, riled up the base to get others to vote who otherwise might not have voted?

Blake covered it. Trump is an incredibly weak and ineffective president on the legislative side. So, I'll be satisfied if Sessions has to resign for lying to congress. That little racist elf is doing a lot of damage, from my perspective. If that's the scalp that Mueller gets, that would be OK.
