That the Dodgers weren't willing to buy Grienke or trade for Verlander is consistent. Balls out to win or some kinda lol value.

As the Tigers well know opportunities are fleeting.

I wasn't really serious about caring but I tried to imagine his pain.
I'd also have more compassion for Todd if he went to one of the games. He still has a chance for sympathy, especially after JV slaughters the Dodgers and brings home what is rightfully his.

But if I'm being honest with myself... If JV wasn't involved I'd be riding with the Dodgers and probably more sympathetic.
You todged a bullet. Lucky you

Like Todd... you fire $500 bets on garbage badguy23 picks but you won't fork over a few thousand for a moment for yourself and son? I dunno, honestly that comes off strange to me. Like I can't imagine putting a dollar amount on something like that. Like I can't imagine knowing I had the means to blow the money for that sort of bonding experience but not going because I chalked it up to inflated ticket prices and trying to justify that your son would appreciate it more in later years, banking on the dodgers running it again.

    shrugs

    but thats just me

Verlander taking it down, as well.

How old is the kid? I think you have to be at least 8 to truly appreciate something like that. I know Druff has an older daughter but I think his son is only like 5 or 6 or something?

I'm not sure how old he is but I don't believe he was born before PFA existed so I'd guess like 5? maybe 6?

Obviously yes you'd appreciate it more as you grow but this different in the sense that it's a moment they can always draw back on together. it's not some schmo game in the middle of July that your father takes you to and refuses to buy you another doyer dog at.

My oldest is 6 and I gauranfuckingtee he'd remember the game and enjoy it. And Druffs autist child probably has the wherewithal of at least an 11 year old
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

Taking an unsolicited shot at somebody's kid is kinda low even for you.

I've always subscribed the philosophy of "Beat LA!"

The sport in question isn't important.

    starts after 6:30

Also guys, gonna need you to weigh in on this. I have a dilemma here.

So I have tickets for the wings right on the glass tomorrow night $200 bones but also jv could win his ring at the same time.

whats my play here? normally I'd say fuck the rando wings game but the seats are great and it's a brand new stadium which i haven't been to yet.

    fuck

The arena is nice, was there Tuesday with the gf, I'd watch Verlander win his world series.

edit: Verlander is going to be so locked in, like a maniac.

Come on dude. Why you doing this to me & making me say it? Especially since I know you're a good, knowledgeable hockey fan.

    Okay, here goes.

The seats next to the glass are shitty seats regardless of what celebrities that like to be seen @ games say.

    There, I said it.

Makes no difference since you referred to them as great seats.

    I'm very disappointed in you.
