get some new hobbies
learn your triggers
get a sober social network

also many in AA are kind of hardcore about medication assisted treatment, anti depressants, etc. Don't be afraid to get professional help from if the program isn't working for you. You might also want to look into supplements and vitamins that will help you naturally regulate your mood. Many people I know have done in/out patient treatment and then AA. There's no right way to do it.

Also so just remember that being sober doesn't mean you can't be happy. It's a great journey.
Agree with everything. If AA feels right go for it, same with anything but if you can find a replacement for the
routine of getting high, and it's got your interest, that's your ticket. Idle hands are like BGC's? ?? That's easy to say and I've been through it a few times but there's a lot out there to consider just as long as you like it. It's a pleasure seeking world
