Heal said that if police had known immediately that a guard had been shot, they would have rushed the room while the gunman was still firing. He said it seemed to signal a breakdown in communication.

So now they're saying that the security guard was shot before the gunman began firing on the crowd, and that he heard drilling in the gunmans room. This means that the security guard was in the hall listening to the gunman unload thousands of rounds.

Completely different time-line than we thought.

The guard didn't stop the gunfire, but perhaps he is responsible for rushing the shooter to begin his plan before he was ready?

Also, seems very possible that with better communication the gunman could of been stopped much soon or even before he started?

I wonder how much time there was between when the gunman fired on the guard and the first shots on the crowd.

When did he knock out the windows?

Also, would it make sense to knock them out with a hammer when you have a gun? Shooting them out makes more sense to me.
