I could make a bomb out of legal fireworks that would make a grenade look like a firecracker. Should be ban fireworks?

I don't really have a stance on gun control, but this logic is retarded.



This guy built a nuclear reactor in his shed with elements (americium and thorium) sourced from smoke detectors and lanterns. Those sores on his face are from radiation exposure.

You can make mustard gas at home with standard cleaning products.

Obviously there's no need to ban smoke detectors or Clorox, but that doesn't mean it's therefore fine to stock chemical and nuclear weapons at Walmart just because they're comprised of legal components, nor does it mean that banning the sale of said weapons would somehow be a "slippery slope".
