Also Trump AFAIK has not taken or withheld or offered or threatened to take or withhold an official act (of government) in connection with NFL employment decisions. There are plenty of reasons Trump should be impeached but this isn't one of them.

I would agree that it can help to provide political coverage, but even if the U.S. Code technically allowed the president to do things that are otherwise crimes, Congress can still impeach him/her. And that is a very important political safeguard against the presidency gaining too much power under the law.

Given how aggressive the liberal establishments (i.e. Google, Facebook, College campuses, Antifa) have been in squashing free speech that is not politically correct, and how aggressive liberals are in defending these actions (eg. this thread), it is amazingly ironic how these exact same people are now backing the first amendment to support the demonstrations.

FWIW, I actually support free political speech without having to worry about being fired, including NFL players doing their anti-America shtick and James Demore memo outlining strategies how to increase female participation in tech and Ben Shapiro and Ann Coulter speaking at UC Berkeley.
