Played golf last week. Hate golf. As long as I'm out there I am gonna rip & run and have some fun. Well, I let it rip and somewhere along the line I slipped a disk in my neck. The agony of the resulting pinched nerve. There just aren't enough drugs in the world...

The pain I am experiencing is matched only by the pain of watching the Dodgers succeed.

$255 million. They should be the best. They should contend. Witnessing the fail in previous years with all their resources has given endless joy.

Alex Wood. $2.8 million. Obviously he wasn't part of the plan. The Dodgers might have a Cy Young pitcher after all. He hasn't pitched very much but he is 10-0. 70 innings - he often doesn't show up on rankings lists cause he sorta doesn't qualify. He's obviously the number #1 or #2. His fielding independent number (FIP) is obviously better than Kershaw. Hell, all his numbers are better than Kershaw.

Woods fly ball vs ground ball rate is a gem. Compare to Kershaw. Everyone is into launch angle when at bat. Kershaw is getting punished but Wood fights that trend. Pretty cool.

The Dodgers nerd trust has the money to stash a multitude of players in Oklahoma & Tulsa. They have mastered the 10 DL fraud and shuttle pitchers back and forth. Why? Because they recognize the genius of the Royals and recognize the Royals approach solves a pitching weakness.

I do not give a shit what people say about the new trend in pitching - 5 innings a start is the new 6 or 7. Relievers and lots of them is the new baseball. This is horseshit - it's problem solving and bandaids. The good ones go deep into games. Sale & Scherzer (Kershaw) to name a few. Normally you burn out a bull pen but the Dodgers got the 10 day DL and the private jet to Oklahoma.

Well bully for you and the regular season. The plane will be grounded in October.

The Dodgers tournament team hinges on Wood. You gotta have a 1 2 tandem to win. At 70 innings we might not know what he really is long term. He's a fucking Ace now. We look for regression.

Ryu, Maeda, Hill ... playoffs? You talking about regular season or playoffs? Pleaaase.

What should really concern you is Santana, Darvish or someone else getting picked up at the deadline. Dodgers have never demonstrated a commitment to winning the World Series before. Somehow they will screw this up if we trust history.

I'm feeling better. Hating the Dodgers is therapeutic. Can't stop.

Let's talk about the shitty Dodgers fans. They have a big stadium. You can't see them at home on tv. So they sit in traffic and catch 6 innings. Nice attendance numbers but it's misleading. The lazy Dodgers fans are legend. Maybe the best team in baseball right now after 30 years of fail and no one gives a shit in LA.

All Star balloting this year reiterates an already proven fact. Justin Turner & Wood. Even if you are stuck in traffic or struggling to breath the pollution you can still pick up your phone and cast a ballot. Holy shit, the Cubs gotta be killing their fans. Yet they still send their 3rd baseman to the All Star game.

Dodgers fans can't be bothered. Maybe they know something.

I would wish that Kershaw revisits his slipped disk like me. But that would be too hateful.

I don't know, that 1988 team was something special though admittedly not as talented. Everyone in 1988 just knew their role to perfection.

They got the dinosaurs on the bench and that is why they are winning. No more Crawford, Adrian, Utley, Ethier. Just a bunch of hungry kids.

I am praying for a Yankees sweep. I am so wrapped up in the hate that I can't touch the game.

Pablo Sandoval and his $70 million contract getting flushed as they designate him for assignment. Fucking 'tards.

No team has ever eaten more money than the Sawks with Sandoval. Not even the Dodgers and this is straight out of their playbook.

Pablo Sandoval, Allen Craig and Rusney Castillo will make about $40M in actual cash this year. Nice work if you can get it.

    Tip of the cap Daly

First come from behind of the year.
Chapman can't retire a batter. He looks useless since his return

Chapman should go back to beating up his wife. The guy fucking sucks. And I got fucked by the Dodgers again by a miracle.

I never said it was a sharp play, but there really is something to the Sawks not losing three in a row.

Now a sharp play is La Tech to win CUSA at 6-1 over at Bovada. should be 3.5-1 at my count at the highest.

It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?

just looking at the open odds tonight...lot of this shit could come down to the weather draw, but just guys I'm looking at...

Patrick reed: 60:1...believe he's been having equipment issues this year...seemed to put it together at the us open with a t13 where he was near the lead on Friday/Saturday...
Thomas pieters: 40:1...shocked he got cut at the us open with his length off the tee...t4 at augusta this year..
Louis Oosthuizen: 50:1...spectacularly unspectacular...feels like a decent enough price...

only other guys I can be convinced to fire on would be stenson/hideki (25:1) and possibly Thomas (40:1)...

don't know if this deserves its own thread...

    http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/2...n-rockets-sale

O/U on selling price...forbes says $1.65B value...I'm gonna say $2.5B at least...crazy texas oil money, crazy Texans who want a toy that their friends don't have...this could get interesting...
