How do we know it wasn't treason? Why does anyone believe the meeting didn't amount to anything? Trump Jr has been lying about this from the beginning, including lying about the reason for the meeting on Saturday. So we just believe the Russian gov't agent didn't have much?
If I was in Trumpland, I'd be mostly worried about Mueller. No leaks and a team of veteran investigators and prosecutors spells a lot of trouble for an admin that ignores the advice of counsel and includes a whole lot of dummies. I don't think Trump will be impeached any time soon, but plenty of people in the admin could face any number of charges. I expect a lot of shady douches from Trump Org are sweating this thing.

because treason is a very, very specific charge and, to my knowledge (and im not a lawyer mind you) the basic qualifications for a charge of treason have not been met.

Let's say that this transfer of info is eventually corroborated by a legit source.
Let's also say that that info included the mention of 33,000 emails being leaked... A number that hadn't been mentioned ever before.
Then you have Trump saying something about that exact number the following day.
And, just hypothetically... Let's say it's corroborated that Trump Sr. was given this info that Jr. received.
