Add to it Drexel is your go between for nothing? I mean Id give a friend a ride home but wouldn't entertain his stakes and handle cash etc if there wasn't a piece for me.

There is no evil secret conspiracy here.
C$ and Drexel are good friends.
C$ is highly generous to the community, and Drexel is basically the only one who C$ knows well enough in Vegas to distribute the money and supervise the way it's used. Like, there's probably other people C$ trusts in Vegas, but they probably aren't close enough friends for him to ask them to go through all the hassle of this.
Why does Drexel do it? Because he truly wants to help enable these players to be able to utilize C$'s generosity, especially given that many of them otherwise wouldn't be able to play WSOP bracelet events without it.
Why does C$ do it? Because he's an extremely generous and big hearted guy, and really enjoys this community, including both the forum and radio show.
I've honestly never seen a forum before where such a level of generosity occurs.
I think very highly of all the people who contributed to make these stakes a reality, whether via time or money.
