Jasep brought it up to me awhile back ago, was fun toying with temps on Skype.
Kid watched so many useless youtubes to try and buddy up rofl
good call to both but I wish someone would have said something, it was only $25 but I have never been scammed online before
Jasep any update on Templars winning any $ from your contest, so I know how much i'm donating to the freeroll
everything about him seemed like bs to me, even his radio appearance. He fucked the most chicks, he played professional baseball, he's trained in mma, he spent time in jail where he kicked the shit out of other inmates, he isnt scared of anyone, he played ball with Josh Hamilton and had some strange try out setup but 'Josh probably wouldnt remember it', he was far too willing to help other members out for no real reason at all. How long does he get until his real name is outed and this is a verified scam? If you're holding money for a handful of people in a community there are very few reasons to be absent from that community, he has posted since the stroke and Druff confirmed he's logged in here somewhat recently.
Yeah, at this point it's obviously a scam. He owes money on so many different avenues, whether it be a personal loan from me, or escrowing the funds for the tourney with the community. That shit doesn't just happen by coincidence.
The guy is obv not paying up, at least any time soon.
The early total looks like he won it... I still have to go through player by player and confirm all results, which I should be completing this weekend, but just looking at the series at-a-glance I would say he won the pool, first prize was 150 and as soon as the final totals are in I will ship it to Druff for these debts.
If anyone beat me to it, it wasn't by much.
Also, I lost the prop bet to Templar so I must change my signature to something of his choosing, so instead I will allow the other PFA members to vote on what it should be:

I think people are being to harsh on Druff for the name/intention of this site..
I think the intent is to showcase scams and frauds in the poker community as a whole, I'm just guessing here, but I don't think Druff ever had intentions of holding his users to higher standards etc... It is an ironic name considering Jsearless and Templar both scammed here already, but I think the name is just to capture an audience interested in mainstream poker scandal and not users rolling each other for 25 bucks...
Scammatars, and under titles should definitely be implemented and Druff made an escrow rule change, but what more do you really expect outta the guy? I think he is doing a fine job and people take the site name way to literally to make points imo.
I'm not sure whats more amazing, how "everyone" claims they knew Templar was a scammer, but just for funs they kept it quiet OR why Jsearles is still going on about being a scammer.
Searles, either let it go or start 1 thread where you can debate the merits of it rather than ruining other threads.

I didn't know he was a scammer and I certainly didn't have any proof. I just knew something was "off", at least to me, which is why I never dealt with him on a financial level, be it our Fantasy prop bet or any of his overtures for last longers and other stuff.
I'm certainly not going to call people scammers or "shady" without any proof, and it's up to each of us to determine our own risk thresholds in these matters. If anyone asked me privately what I thought I would have told them, so unless the people who felt he had the potential to be a scammer (weiss, Jasep, etc.) purposely mislead people into doing business with him they have done nothing wrong. And I don't think anyone did this, nobody was openly vouching for Templar while at the same time privately thinking he might be a scammer.

Yeah, I didn't have full proof. The dude owed me money for awhile. He hadn't disappeared yet, just been real shady about paying me back. I wasn't going to make a post outing him as a scammer until he ACTUALLY scammed. That's the tough part. When do you actually consider it a scam?> When someone is a day/week/month late paying you?
The only right thing I could do was tell Druff, which I did.
