On a side note have you ever looked at how few maybe several dozen people actually own the VAST majority of bitcoins, scary and telling. I love how BTC boards rally against the man when the very thing they support is controlled by few. Id have to find that pyramid.
    Every market has its peak.

Beanie babies never had limitless possibility. Neither has BTC. In fact it's finiteness is why it has survived.

If someone had bought Bitcoin at the start of this thread and sold half their Bitcoin a few weeks ago and still holding half, they are not a donk.

Sonatine - I know you don't care about BTC performance, you clearly got burnt and haven't kept any money in it since.
True. Sonatine is more concerned with the issues of moral turpitude surrounding BTC. His liberal leanings leave him worried for the safety of the Asains given their love for the gambol

How does one know which religion is the right one?

    Ethereum, Litecoin, Pepe, Dodge

Some of these are 9x since start of year if memory serves.

The Bitcoin story is pedestrian in comparison.

Inhale deeply, what do you smell?

BTC has been a highly functional proof of concept. These little up and coming coins are more likely to be smaller and much more turbulent bubbles.

Bitcoin is great because it was allowed to organically grow through trade before its value was compared with government currency and inevitably made to be converted. It naturally developed a practical value and then blew up. These other currencies are just jumping because people are incorrectly assuming that they will perform the same way just because they are based on the same technology.

Remember Sony mini discs? Same technology as CDs only smaller, smarter and more powerful.

Not the exact pyramid I was looking for but this article explains the distribution issue and why bitcoin will ultimately fleece and not last. Greed is a real SOB ain't it.

At least a small cities worth of people will be happy. Once I saw this chart I knew what was really up.

Also, I emailed coinbase on Wednesday but still have not heard back from them as to why I cannot buy any bitcoin... this literally happened overnight, May 2nd I bought some bitcoin and then May 3rd this crap happened and I am no longer able to purchase any
Ill tell you why.. The fucking bitcoin network is as fucked up as Rush Hour in LA on a Monday.. Last I read over 125,000 transactions are jammed up in the system as a whole.. The pissing contest maybe coming to a head with the BTC vs BTU folks this time as its downright affecting transactions processing that its not just small transactions being hung up its larger ones as well.. What amazes me is despite this the price of BTC is over $1600.00 I would've expected with the system running like an Atari 800 trying to run Windows it would've hurt BTC price but so far not so much.. Also there is a significant gap price between some wallet/markets.. Coindesk is at 1592, CEX.IO is 1608 and Coinbase is 1657 as I write this.. Cant be healthy with this kind of spread of nearly $70.. I did find some useful news apparently a mining op is offering to help process transactions who have a minimum processing fee attached of With the Transaction Accelerator for delayed transactions, users can submit any TXID that includes a minimum 0.0001BTC/KB fee to ViaBTC.

Link to the accelerator is here.. They aren't charging they claim they are just trying to help process things and are taking donations but also its a bit of a rant included about the pissing contest on going regarding bitcoin architechture..

    https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

Wont help those buying coins but if you are trying to get shit moved through the network it might help..

I wish you were right on this but I set up a coinbase account in my girlfriend's name and was able to instantly buy some bitcoin but it is a pain in the ass to have to use her and if I ever end up cashing out a large amount from betting sports I don't want to have to run it through her bank

Mine is still cancelling every transaction.... I did send bitcoin straight from coinbase to my online sportsbook account without first sending to blockchain but I am fairly certain I only did that ONE TIME... is it possible that they put a freeze on my account because of this?

do you have any opinion on why I am unable to purchase any BTC... I literally have a list if I go to "Tools" and then "History", there is a list of 15 straight CANCELLED buys after never running into this problem until May 2nd

And the truth comes out. In this forum, the source is more important than the content. I appreciate the confirmation, while avoiding any kind of actual counter-argument or, god forbid, agreeing.

I would argue you made a thread declaring something is "donk" when you clearly know little about it - to a bunch of people you have "known" for nearly a decade isn't a good look either.

I never said I know nothing. I said I'm smug and arrogant and I occasionally will defer to this who know about this stuff. For instance I defer to SanLMar on matters of finance. Druff seems extremely savvy about online gambling and the development life cycle.

I'll defer to you on something eventually, I promise. Be patient. In the meantime I'll try to be cognicient of your sensitivities to man-spraining.

Here, I'll try to be inclusive; let's talk about the 3 days you spent composing this response, if you want. Apparently if the topic is your hurt feelings and your relentless need to fit in, you are the highest authority in the land.
