Macron's win was not an EU endorsement from French voters. It was a snub to the fascist Le Pen.
That said. 1 in 3 still voted for a fascist candidate. And notably, a large portion of the 1 in 3 were young voters.

The vast majority of young people in Britain voted remain. But I think that may of been different if we'd seen ISIS and their AK-47's turning London concert halls into warzones.
And that's the point. Those 1 in 3 will be even more hardened come 2022. While ISIS will just up their attacks, knowing it will increase the Far Right vote. As having a fascist French President goes a long way to creating the Holy War which they so crave.
Radical Islam has already conquered American minds. Europe is next. Then some years down the line, we will have a genuine worldwide Christian vs Islam military situation (That's their hope anyway.) Because it makes up a huge part of their endgame.

That said if Trump doesnt finish what he started, who knows. Maybe Putin slips a few suitcase nukes into Chechnya and lets nature take its course. Then all bets are off of course. But pending that caliber of ruin, I think Europeans are, by and large, not wired to embrace xenophobic fear the way Americans are.
