I was honestly surprised that this didn't happen sooner.
He might have had some good commentary and insight on poker play and the poker scene, but he's far too loud, obnoxious, and abrasive to be representing a major poker brand like The Bike.
I was pretty shocked that his Pokersesh show was a Live at the Bike production. Had the feel of a solo-produced webcast where the host is intentionally a jerk to everyone.
I tried to debate with him on a few topics, including one time on PFA Radio, but the guy was just impossible to reason with. He would just repeat the same things over and over in his loud, scratchy voice, and shout over you whenever you attempted to make a point.
It was worse on his own show. When you would start to make him look/feel stupid, he'd hang up on you and not take your calls again, all while claiming "he can call back if he wants".
This Polk thing was definitely what got him fired, but at the same time, it looks more like the straw that broke the camel's back.
It just seems that the Polk thing made them finally realize that Limon was a bigger liability than asset, so they shut him down.
Oh, and the people in his chat room were the absolute nut low. Reminded me of the mentality one would find in a teen chat room on AOL, circa 1998. I guess those are the only type of people who can stand listening to the guy on a regular basis.
His obsession with hating Trump was also odd. It consumed him for months leading up to the election, and then for quite some time after the election!
I think BCR got it right. Limon could be decent in limited doses, if he was kept on track by another host. Giving this guy his own show, and then associating it with Live at the Bike, was a big mistake.
