I got a friend driving a truck for a measly 18.35 an hour and takes home 518$ a week..

He rents a room from a baby momma 3 bedroom section 8 apt..

He pays like $1200 in taxes a month and can't afford a studio in someone's basement.. The last thing he need is more taxes and more immigration..

In the interest of fair discourse, this SC nominee seems to be a reasonable selection for a GOP justice from everything I've seen. I'm in the Constitution as a living document camp, and find the strict constructionist argument a regressive ideal, but he's certainly qualified, and this is America, thus he has the right to believe the wisdom of 18th century founders superior to a more progressive and modern view of America.

He's certainly not an idiot. He's qualified and properly educated, which is unique among Trump selections to this point. I hope they drag him through a prolonged and labored confirmation, not because he deserves it, but strictly as an obstructionist strategy given the Garland situation. He'll get confirmed. I just hope it takes 18 months.

yep, unlike some of trump's other picks, Gorsuch is absurdly qualified for the position. there will be too much pressure on dems to let even one of trump's supreme court picks get through though, so republicans will have to go nuclear and end the filibuster. but one way or another, gorsuch is getting confirmed.

also mcconnell will be able to control the timing of the nomination, so i'd expect this to be a relatively quick process.

40% of Trump voters in Florida thought that Hillary Clinton was a literal demon, a point Alex Jones pushed repeatedly, and 18% were unsure. Only 42% agreed to the premise that Clinton is definitely a human being. It's pretty hard to compete with insanity of that magnitude.

After meeting with pharmaceutical lobbyists and executives today, Trump has reversed that position, and now says that the drug companies should pay less taxes.
