he's forsure not as bad as the media has portrayed him to be but he is a troll. Also he doesn't take a dime of pay/dividends etc with his pharma business that raised the price for this medicine. he said every quarter they have been in business they have lost money and it's not even close, his sister had some sort of rare infection that paralyzed her and he has made it his life mission to fuck up rare infections.

I'd give him a listen before I just snap judged him based off of liberial media/pundits. my 2c.
i have for sure given him a listen, a bunch of times, and he's a good storyteller, but reality doesn't jibe with what comes out of his mouth. Not even close. He didn't raise the price on unprofitable drugs, he raised the price on drugs that the companies were already making good profits from, but Shkreli price-gouges. LOL at not taking any pharma money he earns, some of his former employers seem to think he essentially took/misused tens of millions from them in improper fashion. Also, "everyone who can't afford it gets it free." No, that's really not true with any drug. A portion of people will, but a much, MUCH larger portion will end up going into debt when their insurance will cover a portion but not nearly enough to make the drug affordable at any dosage, or they make doctors come back with alternatives that cost a LOT less but are also less effective. Martin doesn't mention that shit, but its realer than real deal Holyfield. His price-gouging has real world effects on people who are in no position to do anything about it.

The entire industry is crooked, but Martin puts the rest of them to shame. He's not doing anything new, he's just doing it on a scale most rational people would never consider. You can say not to snap judge him off liberal pundits, and let me assure you I did not. I would say to you, don't judge him by what he says about himself or by the words of people who's only concern is the money being made.
