What's up scumbags

Just loaded a WIFI card since as you know, my internet on the ship is complete dogshit. I can browse PFA, but every time I try to reply to or start a thread, I get cock blocked from the slow ass connection.

Anyway, obv I am at the bar now after 14 straight days at sea back and forth from Diego to Singapore. Unfortunately, we just drop anchor long enough in Singapore to load cargo and refuel...then make a U turn and head back to Diego.

Really nothing too dramatic or newsworthy to report, because quite honestly I have been too busy working my fucking ass off 14 hours a day.

Wake up at 5 AM, prep and serve breakfast...quick break before prepping lunch and dinner...serve lunch...work 2 hours of overtime cleaning or organizing stores...then dinner.

I haven't worked this hard for years and my body is paying the price. I developed a severe case of carpal tunnel that I actually went to the base clinic for treatment.

Its been so bad I considered getting off the ship on a medical release, but decided to slug it out. The wrist splints and ibuprofen they gave me were pretty much worthless...but in the middle of the night, the pain is so bad it wakes me up...if you've ever had carpal tunnel you know what I'm talking about.

OK enough of that sob story.

Willie chilled out after I basically dropped the hammer on his face. We are getting along fine and coexisting peacefully. He is getting off in a couple weeks when we get back to Singapore

splints only help while sleeping
don't be afraid to remove aluminum part and bend to fit your arm and palm when hand is perfectly aligned with arm. bend it so there is no contact with your arm where tendons and veins are visible near the palm and about an inch further up the palm.
ibu can only reduce inflammation. might help at night. 50/50 800mg
get surgery as soon as you have 5-7 days off. should walk out of surgery with a bandaid and sutures that bioasorb.
make willie do more chopping and carrying heavy stuff up from storage.
try to hold things looser than normal

it's interesting to me how these patches work so well for some and are useless for others. I was in the latter group.

I'm on 200mg ketoprofen, once daily, for basically/exactly what is ailing you. It's an anti-infammatory that eases the nerve restriction through the small bones in your wrist & if I forget to take it I get reminded of it in a bad way later in the day. Seriously, it's good shit.

cool tip, but all you really have to do is rinse them with cold water and let them cool down before trying to peel them

i'm guessing tyde (or willie) got short on time and just had to make it work

and food looks good tyde - not easy to put out that much food on a deadline by yourself (if dinner is supposed to be at 5pm and it's not ready exactly at 5 you have a bunch of pissed off crew)
