Tine. I have stuck to a strategy that I have dubbed " Stick to Putin".

In this I bet every Russian fighter. Only exception is if they are fighting a Brazilian or in Brazil.

Add an unit if their last name contains an Akh or Kov.

Add another unit if they could pass for a Chechen terrorist.

But seriously. Akhmedov and Volkanovski parlay tonight.

Not to spoil things, but one of those guys is a Russian, and the other was born and raised in Australia.

    Rogan is iconic.

Goldie is a huge problem and always has been. He simply has no idea whats going on at any given moment, for starters.

But then who would say "It's all over" or "virtually i-den-ti-cal"?

As much as Goldie is a joke, it's kinda like Druff/Drexel.

Years of built up chemistry/playing off each other doesn't just get replaced by a new co-host.

Goldie exists purely because he and Rogan have great chemistry. You notice the difference when its Goldie and Stann or anyone else, on how bad he is. Or when Goldie calls the occasional football/basketball game.

Jon Anik is a milquetoast as it gets when it comes to announcing (although I do like him mentioning the lines and line moves before and during fights, a nice touch).

What's funny is that the WWE offered Goldie a 6 figure contract at one point :

(and to no-show a UFC show!) in his career...and if he is canned from the UFC, he'll probably end up there for less of the cost as Bellator has Sean Grande (who's very good) and WSOF has......well, who gives a fuck who WSOF has, no one watches that shit. Arizona Coyotes hockey could also be a destination for Goldie.

Dana will probably leave on his own terms now since he got his payout, especially if the MMA Union really starts to get some steam. He wants no part of that fight, and WME would be skittish on Dana being the figurehead of any PR effort against a union because as we know from the past, Dana is a tiltbucket and is one viral video away from saying some really stupid shit that could scare the big corporate sponsors that WME aims to procure for its product. I think by 2018, Dana is gone.

Its easier to call agents and journalists you don't like "faggots" when your main sponsors are Mickey's and Xscience, not when they are Reebok and Bud Light.

The main reason Joe and Goldie might have to go for a new TV deal is because networks aren't going to give the UFC huge money then still allow the UFC to produce the broadcast like they do now. That's one of the main reasons the UFC could never make a showtime or HBO deal back in the day, because they refused to give up control of the entire broadcast, and specifically demanded they control all on-camera talking heads. Now they know that to go to the next level, they have no choice. If a network ponies up half a bil for tv rights, they will also absolutely have a hand in who does the call of the broadcast.
