On Dec. 19 the Electoral College will convene to cast their votes for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, with each state’s electors pledged to vote for the candidate elected on Nov. 8 in their state.

But newly released emails reveal a strikingly different “private” position on making cannabis legal. In an onstage Q & A session from 2014, Clinton talked with Xerox CEO Ursula Burns. In that conversation, Hillary used “Wall Street terminology” to express her strong opposition to legal pot. Some suggest this is precisely because of the close ties between Wall St. bankers and Big Pharma. Those companies consider legal marijuana a major threat to their profits.
Burns asked Clinton to respond with “long” or “short” to a series of questions. In this case, “long” means support and “short” means oppose. So when Burns asked, “legalization of pot?” Hillary responded, according to the transcripts, “Short in all senses of the word.”

The last line is the one that matters and we've been over this subject 3 times already. Best position for weed was always with a strong win for the Democratic party. That's from the realistic options that always excluded Gary Johnson and Jill Stein.
We have two Republican parties, the only significant dif is one puts a (D) by their name. If there was a real Democratic candidate it'd be fun taking this election from Trump and giving it to the the rightful winner. Sessions definitely sent shockwaves through the industry. This pick couldn't have been worse for us. This is a man who recently said "good people don't smoke marijuana". We can only hope that Trump doesn't flip flop on his stance on cannabis. He said on October 29th at a rally in Reno that recreational marijuana should be a states rights issue. I know someone posted the shit about Hillary and marijuana, but that was all about legalizing it on a federal level, not going after legalized markets. She was on record saying it's a states rights issue and she would continue on the same path as the Obama administration. It would have been full steam ahead with her...
