So there was no racism, xenophobia, misogyny, bullying, etc before Trump got elected?. The one thread i took from the Dave Chappelle skit on SNL was how delusional some libtards can be. As if the election of a Democrat automatically ensures no racism, xenophobia, misogyny, and all the other made up psychological jargon used to create a self deprecating society.

We have progressed alot as a society, due in major part to our society not our government.

Are we perfect? No. Will we ever be? No.

We will always have to deal with a small minority of fringe actors on all sides of the spectrum. We will also always have politicians that will capitalize on the fears of either paradigm.

This country will never regress to the 60's or anytime before that. The idea of the white boogeyman is perpetuated ironically the way the minority boogeyman was portrayed in the early 20th century, and it just so happens to be a narrative that is being pushed by the same institutions.

In 2013 US racial mix was 13.2% African-american and 62.2% white...



...from that chart you can see that white people were attacked by black people in 13.7% of all the cases where the victim was white. That's 0.5% more than their representation of the population.

From this fancy pie chart regarding black offenders you can see...



...that they chose white victims 38.6% of the time. That's 23.6% less than their representation of the population.

For balancing purposes that 23.6% looks like a much bigger problem than 0.5%. Clearly black people should increase violence towards white people by about 50% since it appears they're already getting blamed for it.

Your rebuttal doesn't explain the media's one sided coverage and did your study take into account that all other races avoid black neighborhoods and large groups of black people by default?

I imagine if there was white/other people roaming in places like Compton and Watts and all the other black neighborhoods I'm pretty sure the numbers would be slightly different. There's zero white people available to be victims in a substantial % of those cases but I doubt they took that into account.

I don't care about the "what if"-game where by magic changing one factor doesn't change every aspect of the issue. That's just not how reality works.

As far i can remember white supremacists have been selling the story of violent negroes threatening the peaceful white communities and the logical conclusion that the best way to solve that is random acts of violence towards the menacing negroes.

And media works by their own rules. With a population size of 300 million the daily thousands of stories of random acts of violence (against any race) got old really fast. Breaking the news barrier in general is really hard. They focus on things they think people want to be informed about in a way they think people want to hear that shit. Apparently the conclusion was that people want entertaining coverage from few select issues at a time.
