Dept of Ed is a useless cabinet posting.. Feds shouldn't be dictating educational standards.. Its their idiocy that has brought us Common Core under Obama and No Child Left Behind under Bush (see equal opportunity fuckups from both parties).. Its a prime example of violation of 10th Amendment by abuse of the Interstate Commerce Clause.. Education is not a Federal responsibility.. National Defense, National Infrastructure, International Trade all those sorts of things are Federal responsibility.. Education should have remained the purview of states and localities because what works in NYC and LA doesn't necessarily work in KC or DC.. We need to allow teachers to go back to having majors in the subjects they teach (above elementary education levels) with minors in education.. Thanks to the Dept of Ed we have teachers with education degrees who don't have a fucking clue about the subject matters they are teaching.. A minor in education sure good idea because not everybody learns the same but you don't need 4-6yrs of college classes to learn how to teach overall, however you do need a 4 yrs degree in math or history or English to be able to teach that subject..

The problem is this.. Subs cant launch autonomously anymore.. PALs were put into place in mid 1990s.. Without a PAL sent with EAM they cant launch.. Oh and how do you cut off communications to the subs?? Easy Nuke the radio array in Maine which is the Ultra Low Freq array which is used to communicate to the subs...
