That's not as simple as you think.. Technically depending on when the hammer comes down after Nov 8th assuming she even wins unofficially (remember the Elec college makes the final decision) could seriously affect things.. If she makes it to Jan 20th YES Kaine becomes President when/if shes forced to Nixon..

NOW here comes the complicated issues.. Should she get tagged hard prior to the EC vote there is a potential for the EC to swing itself and still elect Trump as there is no Constitutional demand that they still vote for her if shes no longer viable.. Then comes the issue of what happens if the hammer drops after the EC vote but prior to the Vote being opened and counted in Jan when Congress comes back and is sworn in.. Should the hammer drop you have a major clusterfuck on your hands.. There is NO I repeat NO Constitutional requirement for Kaine to be sworn in Jan 20 if Clinton were unable to continue due to serious felony charges.. This is where things get interesting and you can expect SCOTUS to get involved and well we have a problem Houston its 4-4 technically so a split is possible however I would propose that you could potentially see Paul Ryan being sworn in (or whoever is the Speaker come Jan 20, 2017) as technically the House would be forced to determine the answer.. The Senate would be forced to confirm Kaine as VP as the EC would've voted for him as VP when they voted..
Honestly The potential exists for a ClusterFuck we've never seen or imagined by our Forefathers.. Under rules of succession Likely you would have the House Speaker sworn in as President and Kaine as VP potentially or even more possible is the unprecedented possibility of a Special Election could be held to determine the Presidency (although this is not accounted for in the Constitution). Truthfully I don't see how this mess is avoidable unless Trump wins now.. too many wildcard situations possible as I mentioned above depending on what drops when.
On a side note as somebody whos from Virginia originally Tim Kaine was an empty suit and useless as Governor of Virginia he accomplished pretty much NOTHING his 4 yrs in office other then creating the biggest deficit situation the state had ever seen (and there is a balanced budget requirement in the VA Constitution that in the case of a deficit one year it MUST be corrected the next year)..
This is the one time when y ou vote you need to seriously consider also who the VP is on both tickets because there is a small chance some left wing whackjob could take out Trump if he wins as well.. Id propose between Pence and Kaine Pence is the slamdunk winner..
