I'm not at all surprised the over hit. Majority of tickets were on the under and the total kept going up.
Important lesson in prop betting tonight. There are games with exceptions but by and large the bias is for the public to take the over and the lines reflect that.
Sportsbook posted lines in the afternoon. The total on the Cal game was 89 so naturally all the overs got fucking hammered. By the time the lines hit the local books all the value was gone and who the hell would bet the under in a game with a 89 total?

I made a great decision to stay home that day. Dodgers got blown out. Main reason I didn't go was because Maeda was pitching, and I saw fail coming. I didn't want to pay almost $400 and sit in traffic for 2 hours to get there, just to sit in 92 degree heat and watch them lose.
