Why vote for Hillary? There are two choices with a realistic shot at winning. Hillary is far superior. I'm not fond of her, but when you strip away the invective of the right-wing hate machine, and also strip away the adulation of those on the left/centrist "new Democrats," what I find is that she is pretty much a standard American politician, exceptionally skillful at it, and highly qualified. When you examine strictly the facts, the truth is that she doesn't lie more than the average American politician and is not any more corrupt than the average American politician, given that American politics is universally corrupted by the campaign finance system and the revolving door between politics and think tanks/lobbying firms/talking head media/wall street and all the other parasites on the system. Her "scandals" are a kernel of truth surrounded by massive exaggeration which is largely politically motivated. I believe she may make some progress whereas Trump would do massive damage. I also want her to appoint strong progressives to the Supreme Court.
