this is tough, but I DONT think I would feel bad for what I said. The fact that he is so arrogant and refusing to see any of his actions as being ill-advised, callous, and selfish. I think he truly believes he hasnt done anything wrong.

Again, there are VERY FEW people I dislike. Micon deserves to feel some pain. Everyone has tried to help him and offer advice, and he either shuns them or shames them. I sadly think that Martha is now a casualty of his actions and there will possibly be some bad news on the home front in the next few months, based on his actions lately. Fortunately, there arent any kids that could be involved, but Martha certainly needs to step in and intervene with his behavior, IMO. She's in a bad spot. It certainly looks like all of his usual "radio friends", like Schoenfeld, and some of the other "poker celebs" he has associated with over the past few years have realized his situation and decided to lay low and/or steer clear of him.

I think Micon is guilty of everything you said, but what I was saying is when people are on the way to rock bottom is when he's being guilty of those things. Not making good, sound decisions. Let's face it. The guy has been on a downward spiral for years now.

I actually agree with this. It's par for the course for people to repeatedly "kick a man when he's down" on these forums but there comes a point that it just feels like cruelty to me and becomes more of a statement about the poster than the person being ridiculed.

Before I stopped posting at DD, I asked Micon on several occasions to answer some legitimate questions I had for him, and he sat there and ignored them, with a smug attitude with his "GOOD DAY SIR" crap. I offered up ways for him to improve the site, and gave plenty of sincere constructive criticism, as did several others. He told all of us to FUCK OFF. With Marty, you usually knew he was just drunk, and laughed it off. He would thrash everyone. Micon Humiliated friends, backstabbed business partners, lied to his users. His fiefdom should burn.

Micon's like an ex wife. Although it's impossible not to say negative things about the bitch because let's face it - she completely fucked me!, I still love her on some level and hate to see her destroying herself. I still feel hurt over our breakup, although that fades over time. And in the end, it's better for the kids if she pulls herself together and gets her life right.

Just go eat a piece of ham. Bacon is supposed to be crispy, and yes steak should never be cooked past medium rare. Asking for a well-done steak is basically like going into the kitchen and pissing in the chef's soup.

Comparing bacon to meat is unfair IMO. Yes they're both meats, but one is a main course and the other is a side dish. One can be cooked multiple different ways(ie: rare, med rare etc) and the other is either crispy or limp.

I just prefer mine limp. It becomes brittle whn it's crispy. I like it fresh off the pan.

Fwiw I take my steak medium rare and would never want it cooked all the way to well done. So it's not like I'm some clown who enjoys chomping on a hard steak.

yeah, my back is screwed again. Surgery was only temporary. I have two vertebrae touching right now, and the disc disintegrated. Sciatic down entire leg is going nuts. Not going to be a good day until my adjustment later.

I had the sciatic nerve problem once to and it sucks ass. The funny thing was that it was fine as long as I was walking around, but if I stopped to sit or lay down it would kill me. I'm not sure if your back problem is the same as what Nate Quarry from the UFC had but it sounds like it. This is the link for the surgery that he had and they had him back fighting to fighting from being on the verge of paralysis.

I prefer my bacon quite limp as well, the flavour comes from the fat and when it's crispy it loses flavour, I think eating bacon crisp is much more comparable to eating a well done steak than eating it limp is. I know there are mutiple ways to enjoy bacon, there is no right answer but chef Michael Symon agrees with us and he's the king of pork so if anyone is right, its the limp bacon eaters. As for steaks, for leaner cuts I like them quite rare and for fatty steaks such as a rib or porterhouse I like them cooked a touch less than medium rare.

As for the Micon bashing, Im sure he can handle it, comparing him to an ex wife is a bit of a stretch, hes a bit boy and Im sure deals with the insults fine. He's condescending and arrogant, he can handle the criticism, in fact I doubt he really even notices it, especially when its on this site.
