The support of normally democrat voters in my age group for a third party candidate continues to grow among people I know, and I'm a Texan who's been in Missouri for a big part of the last couple years. If it's like this here, it has to be worse in states that actually have a lot of libtards.

Nate Silver's Polls Plus, considered the most accurate FiveThirtyEight prediction, has Trump at 48.5%. I'm pretty sure that's his peak so far in the model.

The Nowcast has Trump 54.9% to Shillary 45.1%, meaning he actually thinks Trump would win, based on the math, if the election were held today.

Looks like Colorado and New Hampshire are moving towards Trump now, and based on polling this morning, PA is moving into toss up territory. I said three months ago this first debate would decide the election. While 100M will watch this debate, you might only get 75M the second debate, and third debate would be much less than that. I remember the first Romney-Obama debate I was waiting all day for it. The night of the 3rd debate I was at a Hooters with some buddies.

Could not agree more. And Trump loves the cameras. Loves the attention. Loves the combat. His "bring it on" attitude should be perfect for the debates.

It's going to be hard for Hillary not to get crushed in this debate. Anytime Trump doesn't have a great response, all he has to do is deflect and either tie his answer into a Clinton scandal or completely ignore the question and mention a Clinton scandal. He has about 5000 rounds of ammo to fire that hasn't been beaten to death like him saying "mean things" and Trump university has. She should be worried. I'd say there's a realistic chance she goes full crazy eye out of sync spastic again tonight.

If Hillary loses, the Democrats will only have themselves to blame for not pressuring her to be more transparent.

It has been hilarious watching liberals, including some of the Bernie-loving leftist variety, shift into Hillary spin mode as soon as she became the nominee.

"She isn't dishonest"

"The FBI cleared her so she did nothing wrong with her e-mail"

"She is a victim of a 25-year-long right wing conspiracy. She's no more dishonest than any other candidate."

They just sat there in denial, refusing to accept any logic you would throw their way, and refusing to accept the tough facts about their candidate.

Denying she had problems and her not being Trump was enough, or so they thought.

Now the momentum has shifted big time.

I think tonight will be very important. If Hillary does great and Donald looks like a fool, it will swing the other way.

If Hillary comes off as bitchy/dishonest and Trump performs surprisingly well, then I think the momentum will continue in Trump's direction for the remainder until the election, and he'll win.

We shall see.
