My read is that my Vikes will get pounded hard by the Pack this week and also carolina next week......maybe by then Bradford will be acclimated into the offense/already in there and getting used to his team.
Kershaw -185/thread
Kershaw has thrown only 30 pitches for 9 outs but win or lose this is going to be a fail pick because I did not check the weather.
It is now raining HARD and if this thing hits a rain delay then Kershaws value diminishes
Dodgers got em loaded with one out. Would like to see them squeeze in a run or more and get in ONE more inning FTW
Are you seriously trying to tell me we can't get ESPN to cut a small check to FIU and E Mich to move that POS game up to Wednesday night one time?
That game gets lost on a Saturday docket. Put it on ESPN2 tonight and it's the fucking super bowl for these two teams.
Won both my picks today, provided Milwaukee doesn't blow a 7-0 lead in the final inning, which is unlikely even for someone who runs as bad as I do.
Only bet one of the two, though, because I couldn't get a line I liked for the Chicago under on Bovada. Annoying.
Hope you guys bet both.
Not sure why the line keeps undervaluing Guerra, who keeps pitching extremely well every time he goes out there.
TONS of money went onto Cincy today, to where the line went from -140 to -105 for Milwaukee. No idea why everyone loved Cincy so much today, because Milwaukee had a far superior pitcher going, and the two offenses are about equivalent, though honesty I still like Milwaukee's better. I think people got too obsessed with the Reds winning 5 in a row.
Ya I saw he didn't look good that first start but attributed it to rust, not the injury. I was thinking if he was hurt they would have shut him down so I was hoping for the type of outing he gave only for 7 innings. I also think Michael Pineda stinks which is another reason I fired. But he has pitched ok now past few starts.
Even though my picks over the last 3 days have gone 3-3, all six of them either won or were looking highly likely to win at some point.
Two plays for Thursday:
Phillies (Eickhoff) -110 vs. Pittsburgh (Kuhl)
Cleveland (Clevinger) at Chi White Sox (Shields) Over 10 -105
Eickhoff has been looking very good for awhile now, and Kuhl seems to be showing signs of fatigue (as are the Pirates in general).
Shields has just been dreadful with the Sox (7.30 ERA in 18 starts), and Clevinger is a rookie reliever with a 5.01 ERA/1.452 WHIP.
2 Team Parlay, Phillies ML, Cubs ML, +162
Public hates Baltimore today but I think they are going to win.
Throwing a late pick on them at -112ish. Was once -146.
With that win you could always go with this:

Should have taken the over with the Orioles/Rays, which I was considering, but I was gun shy after being clobbered on the earlier White Sox over.
5 runs already in the first inning (3-2 Rays) and Orioles still batting.
Pirates are ahead 1-0 even though the public loved my Phillies play.
Edit: Make that 4-3 Orioles
Phillies getting no-hit.
Ugh.
Totally out of sync with them this series.
O's are tied 4-4 in the 3rd, in what looks like will be a back and forth slugfest.
At 40.5 game total for tonight the total indicates the odds makers predicting a bunch of running.
I'll take a shot here with this:
Matt Forte over 45 Total rushing and receiving yards first half -115 (bovada)
Louisville +1 over Florida St
If it covers will donate 20 to next freeroll
Embarrassing 0-3 day, my first in MLB in awhile.
2 blowout losses, but one heartbreaker with Baltimore, who had 1st and 3rd with 1 out in the bottom of the 9th, down 7-6. Then Trumbo and Chris Davis came up and each whiffed. I hate having low-average strikeout kings up in that spot. I knew I was fucked.
Getting BACK on the horse...
Baltimore (Jimenez) -105 vs. Tampa Bay (Archer)
Cincinnati (Stephenson) -105 vs. Pittsburgh (Vogelsong)
Seattle (Hernandez) -125 vs. Houston (McHugh)
Note that Baltimore is trending to a better line all morning, so you might want to wait before firing.
Seattle also moved from -160 to -125, but seems fairly stable right now. You may want to wait, as Altuve is questionable, and if he plays, the line may move even better for Seattle.
Cincy line seems fairly stable.
