Rousey has to be sitting at home thinking wtf I was doing charging at Holly like I did and now two other girls beat her before me?
Shevchenko is an elite striker but I hope Pena gets the title shot first unless it's Rousey.
LOL Woman MMA
Right now I think two things:
1) Shevchenko is going to piss hot.
2) Holly was roided as fuck during her Rousey fight.

No worries guys the best in the world is gonna fight in September unless he gets hurt again.

Shevchenko is just a really good fighter. Not a great fighter, but really good at all the aspects of MMA, esp the Thai clinch. Her problem is that style is boring unless you are an MMA nerd who loves that stuff, especially since she hasn't had any KOs/subs in UFC. But she's a bad matchup for Nunes, who barely beat her last time. If they face off in a 5 round fight, I like Bullet IMO....and then Dana hels himself if she ever wins the title.
Holly may have just binked one and caught crazy Ronda at the right time as well as just happen to fight the best fight of her life. The thing about the 135 woman's division: all these girls are specialists for the most part so they are all bad matchups for each other, which creates the title volatility. Tate is a bad matchup for Holm (wrestling), Holm is a bad matchup for Ronda (striking), Pena/Ronda is a bad matchup for Nunes (strength), etc etc.

She was bullet-timing Holm for 25 straight minutes and even got faster in the 5th round (ok for the last 20 minutes then).
Whats more, compare her performance last night with her showing against Nunes.
Either Ronda gets an asterisk next to her L, or Holly does.
And as for Holly/Ronda, nothing about that was accidental, Holly pieced Ronda up from bell to bell, granted from countering, which leads us to..... Yes I know that Holly has literally no clue how to lead, I get that, but the difference in speed and stamina between these two fighters was spectacularly suspicious, again especially considering how shit of the fucking dog Shevchenko looked against Nunes.

Neither Jones nor Lesnar are being fined by the UFC.
Because... *spins wheel*.... "lol why not" apparently.

i believe somewhere in the neighborhood of 4m before taxes. 2.5m was his show price from zuffa, from what im seeing.

$2.5m was his fight purse, and that's the only part that the commission will be taking money from. His ppv cut, according to Meltzer, will likely easily crush his fight purse, probably $4-5m (not including his fight purse), but that money takes a while before the check comes.
Even with the fine, whatever it comes to, Brock will very very likely earn significantly more from the UFC this year than the WWE. His show money is what he takes home for the entire year of WWE, and WWE ppv doesn't exactly rake in the PPV cash any more, so he won't be getting much of a bonus that way from them. Merch won't even come close to making up the difference.
Id be not at all surprised.

about the UFC fining people, I can't even find any record of the UFC fining Frank Mir for his failure in Australia, and there was no other commission there giving out fines either.
UFC doesn't fine people when they are already getting suspended. Brock's not getting any special treatment there. You get fined for Reebok shit, because that shit is clearly spelled out in the contracts, but that's about it.
The whole Brock signing / timing to escape pre-fight test results situation was so brazenly opportunist and shady that no conspiracy theory seems exotic at this point.

Mark Hunt is furious about the Brock Lesnar situation and he's not going to stay quiet about it.
In an explosive interview Monday on The MMA Hour, Hunt unloaded on both the UFC and Lesnar, criticizing the UFC for allowing Lesnar to fight Hunt at UFC 200 despite the WWE superstar failing two drug tests ahead of UFC 200.
Both test results were handled by USADA and came back positive for the anti-estrogen agent hydroxy-clomiphene in the days after Lesnar handed Hunt a one-sided decision loss at the bicentennial event.
"Before the fight I was assuming he was cheating," Hunt said. "Look at him. There's no way that guy makes 265 pounds. That guy is a gimp, he's sticking needles in his ass like the rest of these cheaters. And the thing about that is, he's sitting here saying ‘this is a fair place.' Well, it's not fair. These guys are cheating and they should be in court for it. (They should) lose all of their money if they're cheating, because if I die in there, who's going to look after my family.
"That's corrupt sh*t, man. These motherf*ckers should be penalized hard. Dirty, scummy, cheating scum. That's how that monkey won his world title. He didn't do it by doing it clean. He did it by cheating, just like the rest of these cheaters."
Hunt pointed out that Lesnar's failure marked the third time Hunt has fought an opponent in the UFC only for that opponent to fail a subsequent fight-related drug test. Hunt encountered similar situations with his 2013 draw against Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva and his victory over Frank Mir this past March.
On Monday, Hunt said that the UFC had yet to contact him about the Lesnar situation and urged the UFC to take action.
"The best outcome is if the company that I work for says, ‘you've been cheating, you lose all of your [fight earnings], and since it was cheating, you get fined. You get sued and you get a fine. You're going to straight to court, criminal court, because what you've done is an offense.' That's what I want done," Hunt said. "So that these guys who are cheating don't have more incentive to do it, because they do it for financial gain. If you take all of that away, they get nothing.
"Make them banned for five or 10 years. There goes your career. Five, 10 years, you have no career left and not only that, you lose all of your money. You're done as a fighter. That'll stop you from doing it. That's what I want to see done. I won't be a part of any company who says ‘we don't mind you cheating or doing this or that,' otherwise then every monkey will be [cheating]."
The UFC did not immediately respond when asked for comment.
Echoing statements he made last week, Hunt called for a fighter's association and stated that he was willing to take legal action if nothing is done to make the situation right, adding that he would take his talents elsewhere unless the UFC takes action.
"I'll go and work somewhere else," Hunt said. "Like I said, I don't give a sh*t. If we've got to sue their asses, well then f*ck you, you're going to get sued. You scummy c*nts. The problem is everyone these days, ‘man, I want to get into the UFC.' F*ck the UFC. You're sh*t. You motherf*ckers don't look after nobody.
"We'll let this f*cking white piece of sh*t f*cking stick needles in his ass and say, ‘oh, he's going to take us all the way to the f*cking bank.' Let's give him f*cking millions of dollars and not worry about this motherf*cker. You know what? F*ck that and f*ck your sh*t company. Look at that for a contract. You can sue me on that, motherf*ckers."
