A regulation game is 4.5 innings if the home team is leading or 5 innings if tied or the home team is behind. If a game is called for weather before becoming a regulation game the game is wiped off the books as if it had never happened and has to be replayed in its entirety.
If the Tigers would of took the lead in the top of the 7th and the game was called before the Home Team batted they would go back to what the score was the previous inning and grade the bets accordingly.
The only exception to this is in the playoffs, where all games that are postponed for weather are considered suspended and resumed at the point they had to stop.
The rule above would have no barring for betting purposes. It would be graded a winner or loser as long as it went the 4.5 to 5 innings even in the Post Season.
Jesus christ that is why i dont bet baseball. A year ago I actually fired a few k on a random game in Vegas because there was nothing else to bet on. I took action but they switched pitchers like 5 times before the game even started and the Cantor system got all fucked up. Instead of assigning the new odds based on the picture, it told me my ticket was a loss when I tried to cash it in. Luckily, I thought about it , went back to the sportsbook, and explained what happened. They then took my "losing" ticket out of the pile and did some calculation based on the odds before the game started and then paid me. Had I just walked away I would have been out 3-4k So you really need to know the rules your book has before placing baseball bets because even they can fuck it up.
btw, I still think they fucked me because i thought "action" applied no matter how many times they switched pitchers and you were locked in at those odds. But it ended up being the difference of 40 bucks, and I just didnt know enough about baseball betting to be confident i knew what i was talking about
