ok so clearly littlefinger rides in and saves the day for jon and sansa in winterfell, ostensibly too late to save sansa. im assuming sansa's body gets picked up by a weeping hound and he forces the priest to turn her into stoneheart.

then winter comes so they conveniently pivot out of westeros more or less entirely except for the bullshit drama at the castle.

and then the rest of the show is cersei/dany/jon/bran vs white walkers with ironfags possibly playing for either team...

if this happens, am I justified being upset. I hate that Jon is still alive. I feel like this show is great because anyone can die. If Sansa gets got and comes back as stoneheart, I will be annoyed. Am I being silly in thinking resurrection is stupid when this show has dragons, people invincible to fire, whitewalkers--etc

Just seems like a gimmick to kill and bring people back-- trying to prepare myself for fail tonight. I have high hopes for this episode but a little tempered after Arya's plot progression-- still bitter

yeah the resurrection and face changing are my least favorite elements of the show and, imo, the least deftly handled elements of the book.

and i have a terrible feeling that we arent done with them, and 'arya' is going to just show up at winterfell to fall into sansa's arms and end up knifing her mid-embrace before pulling off her arya mask and being all TWAS THE WAIF ALL ALONG, *ACTING* because oh my god this show honestly.

I hope I'm not over stating this but this is the most important night in the series since the Red Wedding. At 10:00 EST people are either going to be freaking the fuck out about how this is the best series ever and going ape shit over the fact that there are only 14 episodes left in the greatest show in the history of the world.....

Or.....

The episode will suck and this will be the day that music died.

I'm optimistic, but it's 60/40 at best.

When Snow, Davos, and the wildling fellow were discussing strategy, they specifically talked about not letting that happen, I think, and the wildling had no real idea what they were talking about. Didn't know what a flank was, or pincer movements were, none of that.

Definitely the downside of the episode was the predictability. However, I'll take completely telegraphed over completely cheesy, which it could have definitely been based on the back half of this season.
