I thought Werdum looked a bit sluggish at the weigh-in yesterday but very surprised he came in like that.

I actually think Stipe will knock him out in the first round. We shall see..

Maybe the talk of Werdum being the GOAT will now stop.

Stipe's one punch power and athleticism is only matched by Overeem. It's a better fight IMO.

Not sure wtf Werdum was thinking because he never does that and usually tries (and sometimes is successful) in getting his opponents to do dumb things fighting the way he has the advantage in.

BeerAndPoker: Agreed. I'm mad at myself cause I didn't bet Stipe since I thought Werdum looked horrible at that weigh-in.

Werdum is going to be put on the shelf after that.

Miocic vs Overeem winner will fight Velasquez vs Browne winner so there is your next 12 to 18 months worth of heavyweight title fights considering an injury will likely occur along the way.

The ring rust factor gives me pause but Werdum is so weirdly smart in the ring, I think he can weather the storm often enough to give equity at that line.
That is a good point about his knock outs and who they have been againt. I do also think it is important to point out Werdum isnt young anymore. He has been on a tear as of late but every year at his age makes a big difference. We saw it with Anderson Silva. He was god until about 38 and then went down hill.
    Werdum is done imo.

Maybe. But he also outlanded on Stipe 5 to 1 until he got staggered and went chasing after him like a retarded kid after a lollipop.

I received "tips" tonight to bet on Miocic and Brown.

I got +265 for Brown and +150 for Miocic, for $500 each.

    Went 1-1, profiting $250.

    Would do again.
