I might consider this, since I will be "coming into" a lot of BTC this month due to Bovada cashouts.

So to be clear, you're saying that Nitrogensports does NOT consider OT in 2nd half bets?

I remember Bovada used to be this way, but I looked at their rules tonight and OT does count in 2nd half bets.

It would be a big advantage to have a book which does NOT consider OT in 2nd half bets, along with one that does, so you can bet overs with the book which considers OT, and unders with the one that doesn't.

I just checked the rules on site and it says that it does include OT which is confusing as I have seen lines offered for nearly every sport that will have lines for regulation time only.

I just did a google check on it to make sure as I don't want to pass along false information, and I found someone who had an issue with it during Hockey. Heres the story.

Funny because I had a conversation with Brandon tonight where I said that Bovada only counted regulation in 2H bets, and in fact I had remembered getting screwed (I think in late 2014 or early 2015) where my 2H bet didn't cover in regulation, but covered in OT, and I still lost.

Then I went and looked at the Bovada's rules tonight and they include OT. Brandon then said that maybe I misremembered.

Maybe both Nitrogen and Bovada changed this recently.

If you think about it, 2nd half should really mean 2nd half, and not OT. After all, every other half and quarter bet is for only that half and quarter, so why should 2nd half be different? And if it is going to include OT, why provide the misleading 2nd half line, when in reality you're betting on an entire game line? For example, my under 98 2nd half tonight should have been posted as under 177 game, because that's really what it was. The 2nd half WAS under 98, but I still lost because the game score was 181.

Red Sox have the 3rd highest run scored in MLB. Cubs & Cards, of course. Tomorrow Sox face Oakland again after curb stomping them 14-7 tonight.

Red Sox will trot out a 10yr journeyman/minor leaguer, O'Sullivan. Simply fucking dreadful. Back end of Sox rotation is so bad this guy will get some time. (Highest paid pitcher in baseball, $30m/yr Price sucks balls too - another story)

Oakland is calling up the "Throwin Samoan" Manaean. Has some decent stuff. Some control issues and thus walks a guy an inning. Pitching to Red Sox is going to put this kid in therapy.

As I was looking around the lines, I found where they do offer OT included under the Hockey tab. I think this change has been made recently. I recall it where you would just hit "NHL Lines" and they would be mixed in with each other which makes it very easy to click wrong bet. I made this mistake once and ended up pushing, when I thought I lost.

I agree with you that it shouldn't count toward the second half. I think as USA bettors we have become accustomed to it counting for the game and 2nd half betting and its fine with me as long as the rules fully state which way it is. I'm pretty sure that the rest of the world doesn't count OT, USA has to be different I guess. The most bet on sport in the world is Soccer (Futbol) and all over the world its bet without overtime or penalty shots counting. They offer where you can have it count with a slightly different line. If anyone else could shed light on why this is, Id be interested in hearing why.

These NBA refs this year are just awful. Westbrook got fouled on their last drive way before they whistled it and it gave the Spurs no hope of a 3 at the end for a tie since he gets the basket and one. This is one of several mistakes they have made at the end of these games in the playoffs that it's getting ridiculous.

They made mistakes all through the game. Totally inconsistent. They would let them play for a while, then all of a sudden call some bullshit barely touch foul.

That being said it was an exciting game to watch. Interesting to see that SA actually has one flaw and it's playing vs Ibaka/Adams/Kanter. Can't handle the height, Duncan is too old.

Got real lucky tonight. I had Washington -180 for $3600 and Ross had his worst game of the year. Had the winning run on with one out in the 9th with the heart of the order, but they couldn't come through.

Kinda chasing but not really, I was looking on WH in game and saw OKC +340 down by only two. The Spurs had the ball. Fired a bit, it hit and a $3600 loss turns into a $1500 profit day. I'm thrilled.

Edit: Eric Surkamp (L) Feels like "just a guy" against righties. Not a plus fastball. I'll take some feedback from anyone who has seen him. But still feels okay. Hoping for 9 total
