I've read McGreggor gets somewhere is the neighborhood of $5M-$6M per fight between show up bonus, win bonus and PPV bonus over his last few fights.

My guess is $$ gets the guy he can easily beat for his 50th. He gets a guy that "everyone" will tune in to see and draw BIG PPV sales.

And what it's all said and done McGreggor could "demand" $20M for the fight and laugh his balls off at UFC all the way to the bank.

Do you have any idea how hard it is to hit Mayweather to the body? You've got a better chance of landing a clean shot to the head. Canelo is a devastating body puncher, and he couldn't do it. McGregor doesn't hit hard enough to hurt Mayweather, even if he could land something (he can't, btw). Don't even get me started on footwork. You realize the kind of positioning you need to have against a guy faster, smarter, more accurate, with maybe the best defense of any boxer, ever?
