I would like to see the odds on Hillary:

    1. Breaking down and crying during a debate with Trump
    2. Slapping Trump full in the mouth
    3. Walking off stage during a debate
    4. Have a coughing fit and Trump rushes to give her a handkerchief - sympathy ploy
    5. Speaking of doing well with women and Trump making a veiled reference to Hillary being a dyke

Forget about the odds. Who would like to see Trump's wife Melania give Hillary a slap across the face after Hill insults Trump during the general election campaign?

So FPS, seeing that Bernie won't beat Hillary; do you think you might be at least a little representative of a Bernie supporter that is somehow more attracted to voting for Trump than Hillary? Either way, what reasons are you feeling are guiding you one way or the other?

Anybody that is not a sell out is better than bought and paid for Republican slimeball Hillary Clinton. Let Trump pick a Ted Cruz type running mate or give any indication his term will be like that of George W and we will have a pro Hillary thread on PFA. Or if he starts talking about appointing pro citizens united or another Scalia to the supreme court. We will have a bow to the pant suit thread here on PFA.

One of Trump's pick for Supreme court is none other than Andrew Napolitano lol
Blaming Cruz's dad for helping LHO kill JFK , lol

I consider myself undecided at this point. Dude you realize Trump's not going to build a wall right? That's a long desolate border. He may build one around common entry points at the most but i doubt that. Trump talking about China and Mexico fucking us on trade is what I really like about him.

Jimmy Kimmel absolutely crushing it. The Republican party had no problem backing Palin but not Trump, ummm yea.
I'm in a right wing state and our coal plants are shutting down. Solar and wind are popping up here n there.

If Trump aligns with this bimbo Palin on climate change get used to cackles and pant suits.

    Kasich dropping out now.

I guess people around him told him how foolish he was looking, and to give it up already.

Has anyone looked yet at the polls of Hillary vs Trump in Ohio, Florida, and North Carolina?

Because if he loses ANY of those 3, it's game over.

Says the guy who stated on multiple occasions that TRUMP had no chance to win the GOP nomination.

Yes. They're all leaning Hillary, but not insurmountably.

This election has exposed the problem with America lately.

Both major parties have large bases of people who vote for foolish and misguided reasons.

    Democrats have:
    - Freeloaders who will vote for whichever candidate gets them the most free stuff
    - Rich and middle class liberals who feel guilty about their success, and feel the need to vote for a candidate who will make big government solve everyone else's problems, thus making themselves feel less guilty
    - Idealistic and naive kids who don't understand how the world works yet

    Republicans have:
    - Uneducated morons who vote for the candidate who gives the best-sounding 1-sentence solution to complicated problems
    - Religious nuts who are obsessed with topics such as abortion and gay marriage

Then there are reasonable Republicans and Democrats who don't fall into any of these groups, and both are disgusted at what is going on right now.

The above groups on the Democratic side are the ones propelling Bernie Sanders to various primary victories, and are forcing the Democratic Party unreasonably to the left. I look at some of the stuff Bernie supports, and it's unbelievable that a sizable wing of the Democratic Party thinks it's realistic.

Trump was victorious thanks to the uneducated wing of the Republican Party, as his 1-liners sounded appealing to them. The religious nuts didn't negate him very much, because some of them are also the uneducated morons, so a sizable number of them still voted for him even though he otherwise doesn't align with their social beliefs.

And then there's Hillary, who just about no one likes, and whose own party realizes she's super shady. But people voted for her out of practicality, knowing that Bernie's plans are unrealistic nonsense, and that he would get killed in a general election. Ironically, Bernie would likely beat Trump, but Democrats at the time believed Trump probably wouldn't be the nominee, so they voted for the safer candidate. But the general sentiment in the Democratic Party is that they dislike her and is only preferable to a Republican.

So this is where we stand.

We have unrealistic fools on the left screaming for the Democratic Party to take a more liberal platform.

We have a Democratic candidate (and overall frontrunner) who is known by EVERYONE to be shady, and no one likes, but keeps winning by default.

We have an authoritarian attention whore Republican candidate, who accidentally backed into the nomination by inadvertently appealing to the moron portion of the Republican Party when intentionally saying outrageous things.

    Bleh.

Nice analysis Druff. The seeds of the current state of the GOP were sewn in the 1988 presidential election by Lee Atwater. He was a RNC Chairman and Bush campaign manager. He shored up the ignorant red neck vote, driving centrists to abandon the GOP, most of whom became independents, 10% of whom voted for Ross Perot in 1992. They never returned.

The GOP basically told poor white people that if they went to church on Sunday, they could shoot homosexuals and abortion doctors with their AK-47s and Uzis. It is not surprising that they are now pissed and are flocking to a demagogue (you will have to look that word up in a book called a "dictionary" Marty).

What do these centrists want? A stable economy and a government that stays out of their business. It is really that simple.

Is there any information to state that the Repub supporters are not as intelligent as the Dem supporters, because I have seen some Prrreeety stupid Bernie supporters on social media.

How can one state that one is less intelligent than the other group? What studies?

Doesn't matter, if you don't connect with the majority of the populace (shhhh, that means the stupid people) then you can't win anyway. That means disaffected minorities (shhh, that means non-asians) and people earning a living beyond what they should be able to achieve in the normal marketplace (shhh, that means government workers).
