Here's the thing that has me marking this event as some kind of nadir of the markets insanity.
The car is $35,000. The government will subsidize your purchase to the tune of $7500. Your financing will be like 0% for like 7 years.
If any of this TSLA story made any economic sense why all the subsidies?
TSLA is prolly financing this whole enterprise with damn near free Fed money.
The market is bidding up the Tesla story in the Wall Street casino with free chips.

Last week following Yellen I achieved the absolutely certainty that Hillary is gonna be in the Oval Office. Dem's wont allow her to be fucked with criminally. The Democrats & Obama won't allow the Fed to deflate the bubble. So everyone is happy - 401k never better.
In fact, the market will prolly set some new record before we are done and Obama will be hailed as the savior of the US economy. From possible Depression to record highs in 8 years. Greatest President ever?
We will meet our maker next year and Hillary will be giving Fireside chats and installing many fine new social programs to aid those selling pencils and apples on street corners.
But by then we will be taking delivery of a new Tesla.

I'm with you, hate it. SHould be a fraction of what it is now, share price wise. But, fuck, I won't even touch it with my funny money practice acct.
It's not a love or hate thing.
It's dealers choice. I'll play whatever game they want to deal. "Don't fight the tape" as the old timers say. "Don't think, just trade what you see" is what I live by.
Things are a little slow compared to what we've been used to. I always worry that things will go dead and I will starve. The weakness in my game is forcing trades that just aren't there during slow times.
Did well in the first quarter so maybe I clip some coupons and catch up on sleep.
Knowing that next year we will have some epic sorting out to do fills my heart with gladness.

LONG BONDS, SHORT EQUITIES HAS BEEN MY PLAY THE PAST TWO WEEKS. It will continue to be my position for all of 2016.
Energy will be outperform every sector in 3-5 years. High yield credit spread is worrying however, as I believe it's over 8bp now. Bankrupticies/restructurings will continue to weigh on crude futures.
