not a huge Nikole Kidman, Julia Roberts fan but this film was imo excellent... very good double ending
good acting with a good cast as well.

Saw "the survivalist' and came away from it with mixed emotions. Most of the times highly acclaimed films are about 50/50 hit or miss for me. Sometimes I think the critics must smoke crack.
I felt "the survivalist" could have been great at one point during the film, but it never quite got there (largely because of the tired post apocolyptia cliches, and a silly road to redemption side story involving a treacherous brother, but I digress). I liked the lack of dialogue, and the imagery quite a bit though.

OSA WARNING: there is a graphic uncircumcised penis masturbation sequence that really grossed me out, but for the Delaware in us all, there are a couple of old woman bushes and a lot of unattractive titties to offset that, I suppose.
Movie was cool as fuck even if I couldn't understand a lot of the British slang. Holy shit check this scene out...
Watched Black mass the other day and it was quite possibly the worst movie I have watched in the past 10 years.

Watched The Martian finally. Ridley makes a great movie now and again. This was really great, right up to the point when they decided that they didn't have a good ending for the movie so they went with russian ribbon gymnastics.
This came to mind so I made it, somebody had already done this concept though, but mine is a little different.

So yeah, I've been riffing robots lately and this was in the cue to get it out of the way. I thought it was going to be a little different, but it did what it was supposed to do, i suppose.
Long story short, Dan Bilzerian is now somehow intelligent and builds a sexbot with an emotional disorder. If your suspension of disbelief is as high as a child that claps for tinkerbell, seek this movie out.

Come for the one liners, stay for the gore. They finally got one of these dark superhero movies right. I mean the ending was pretty awful, but let's set that aside for now. Let this team make Lobo and be done with it.
did you actually pay for this or did you pirate it like a horrible detroiter also how is your movie going experience i feel like you could probably smuggle in a whole rack of ribs and a bottle of red and they wouldnt care out there

Just off a cruise ship and was able to catch two movies.
Mad Max - 4.5 out of 5 stars. As good as advertised. Non stop action.
Mocking jay 2 - 2.5 out of 5 stars. Not completely awful but at the end of the day it's based on a pre tean girls book.
I never watch CAM garbage, I got over the novelty of that over a decade ago. I have a place a mile away that has a good digital / THX setup with stadium seating. It's in one of those outdoor walking malls where people bring their dogs to walk. I'm nowhere remotely close to the city anymore, but that in itself would have kept me from going the show.. too many people bringing in racks of ribs and getting bbq sauce on the seats.

ensemble acting was great. Not one individual deserved an award though, but very good acting.
They ruined what would have been and decent flick with a terrible ending.
