Lol....actually the only hope for the GOP is Cruz, Rubio, or even Kasich against Hillary. Why the fuck do you think the GOP is pulling out all the stops to keep Trump from getting the nomination?

The reason why they want Trump out is because he is not part of the ecosystem.

The Republican Establishment, as they are referred to, share in the profits of the clusterfuck that is our federal government.

The reason why the Republican Establishment has not dismantled Obamacare or defunded it or not really put up much of a snit other than being vocal is because of one twisted little factoid:

When the Republicans are completely in charge of it, they will get to pay off their friends with the contracts instead of the Democrats.

That is why they can't AFFORD to have Trump in there. He actually wants a wall and to repeal Obamacare for REAL. Those other dudes give all kinds of things lip service, but at the end of the day when they can dismantle or defund things like The Omnibus Bill, they don't. They don't even try. Career politicians are poison.

IMO, the Repubs biggest reason for hating Obamacare is that it came with a surtax on higher incomes and capital gains.

I was watching some of that rally today, he was really reaching for material like this picture asking ppl to raise their hand to pledge their vote or something. But thatll happen if ur tired and going off the cuff 15 hrs a day every day. And there was a protester every 5-10 minutes, weird loosey goosey scene, don't remember him talking any policy at all.

apparently kentucky was a disaster today. tons of voters turned away. i guess there's no way of knowing whom they were looking to vote for aside from probably not rubio or kasich.

Seriously nothing speaks more loudly to the implosion of Trump than this. If Genghis Kahn was on the ticket, they would have voted for him instead of Trump.

And this was _exactly_ what I was talking about; people making a big double middle finger fuck you to the American political system until they have to actually do something that matters, at which point they turtle and wait for the ref to step in.

All states tonight are proportional so really not much is changing. The media pretends that winning a state actually means something. Don't be fooled by them hyping it up. Also many of these states are caucuses and on top of that only allow registered republicans so many of Trumps base can't vote.

Biggest story right now is low numbers for Rubio but that could change quickly once urban areas start reporting.
