Dana White just said on ESPN that he texted Ronda Rousey after the fight. Ronda wasnt watching it. He told her that Meisha won, and Ronda said, "Well, looks like Im going back to work".
He said Ronda vs Tate is the next fight.
I can only imagine how much money Holly Holm just missed out on by not getting that Ronda fight in the future.
He didn't say Ronda vs Tate on the FS1 press conference when he was on a bit ago just that Ronda won't be fighting until at least October or November is what the plan was but wtf knows.
Dana was saying some shit like Holly's manager was the dumbest ever, not waiting for the huge ronda fight and payday.
BUT, holly made a huge payday just by being on this card and getting ppv points, and she will still have a huge rematch with ronda down the road anyway if ronda comes back. Be great if she was still the champ, sure, but she made a good chunk of coin tonight, and has another big payday or 2 down the line, so shit aint too bad in holly's world.
