The only question that remains is...

Can Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton in the national election?

Guess which senator with the highest approval rating?

    Bernie Sanders

How can anyone not vote for Bernie Sanders? All this Trump and Hillary talk, it's totally insane.

Bernie Sanders is a better choice than Hillary Clinton.

Unfortunately, Hillary will win the democratic nomination for President.

Sanders can't deliver the black or hispanic vote.

I can give you a rough estimation of how it works out before I go to sleep as well.

Basically just raw numbers White American Murders in America are about 1 in 100,000 I can give you all the FBI links in the morning, but trust that I am right on that.

England's numbers are roughly reported at 1.15 in 100,000. I would say that is in the margin of error to say they are the same .... but!

Homicide rates in England are only reported based on Convictions!

In America if someone gets murdered whether it is solved or not, it is reported as a murder.

In England if someone gets murdered they are only actually murdered if someone is convicted of the crime.

"Since 1967, homicide figures for England and Wales have been adjusted to exclude any cases which do not result in conviction"

    http://www.publications.parliament.u.../95/95ap25.htm

To give you some kind of idea in 2011, the UK reported 636 Murders (or about 1.15 per 100,000)

But guess what if we look up the death register, what do we find?

329 people died from "assault", 27 by poisoning (not suicide or work related), 361 by strangulation (not suicide), 127 by non-accidental or suicidal drowning, 7 with guns, 2 with explosives, 20 by stabbing, 62 pushed from a high place, 21 run over, and another 198 of "other specified events in various places" .

    Totals - 1154 violent deaths

    http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/rel/vsob1/...11--final-.xls

    That's actually just over 2 per 100,000.

So not only do your politicians lie to you about the murder rate in England, but it is less safe to be White in England than it is America.
You are overlooking a very important factor that contributes to violent confrontations: population density. It is well-known that as population density increases, the chance of violent confrontations occurring escalates exponentially given the many more opportunities for conflicts to occur. Both Blacks and Hispanics were gangs pose a serious threat to the communities are in high-density areas. I suspect the same is true for more Brits versus the average White American given GB's much higher average population density. A fairer comparison with GB's murder rate would be to compare it to the greater Boston metro area, which probably has comparable population density and demographics.

Lobbying had nothing to do with Trump becoming a Billionaire.

Trump became a Billionaire because he bought quite a few properties mainly in Manhattan real cheap then he developed them and resold them at a huge profit.

You find out at http://www.opensecrets.org what Donald Trump has donated to politicians.
What did Trump get for his money?
What favors have politicians done for Trump?
    http://www.moneytalksnews.com/why-yo...-donald-trump/
Trump donated $100K to the Clinton Foundation and got Bill & Hillary Clinton to attend his wedding.

Voting for Trump throws the whole political system into chaos and it won't be business as usual in Washington.

Trump is a billionaire because he didn't squander the billion $$$ fortune his father left him. And in contract to his claim of being an excellent businessman, he underperformed investing in a diversified stock portfolio by about 70% since then. Meaning, he'd be worth about 2.5 times as much if he had sold off his inheritance and turned over his money to be managed in a stock market index-tracking fund.

I would like you to apply that logic to everyone that had the exact same amount of money that he had back then and tell me... How many people have that kind of money today? The actuality does not prove that pussy's premise. If it held up, Warren Buffett should be a trillionaire by now.

By any factor you can come up with, he still has 10 billion more dollars than you. You don't get to judge that kind of success because you have never even smelled one one millionth of it.

Sure if you invested in Microsoft stock at the IPO in 1986 and held on to it for 30 years you could have turned $1000 in to $500,000.

Or if you invested in Amazon stock at the IPO in 1997 and held on to it for 20 years you could have turned $1000 in to $250,000.

It's a hypothetical that no one would ever commit to.

Oh I get it you think the Federal government is the only government you bribe.

Properties are handled at the local level. You don't build casinos without favorable tax situations and the same thing is true with golf courses, office buildings and condos.

All you have to know about Trump is look into his shady dealings with George Soros if you don't think he is lobbying and bribing people to get his way.

He isn't going to change the system to hurt himself.

Any overhaul to a tax system where he pays a higher percentage of tax isn't going to happen.

Even though I don't agree with Sanders, I can see how somebody can support someone with convictions.

To compare Trump and Sanders is a major disservice to Sanders credibility. One makes shit up as they go and one has had the same views for over 40 years.

Agree with abrown - this may be overly simplistic, but I don't feel as though enough has been made regarding Trump being a casino operator. Seems as though it would be a conflict of interest with Trump's strong "christian" faith and all that

In case you missed last night's Republican Presidential debate.

There was a lot of yelling and Ben Carson said something about a fruit salad.

No one can save the Republican party now, not even Ben Carson and his healing hands.

As a non-american, it totally blows my mind what your politicians can say without getting laughed off stage.

Starting in at least the 70s, the right wing slashed funding for education with one hand while promoting evangelism with the other. Ergo... If you are poor in America, you have a shite education, your children have shite educations, and youre all going to vote Bible because you're basically a superstitious cult.

So anyone who does the best imitation of American Jesus and has enough backing to get the message out the farthest ends up on that stage.

No one complained until Trump because those were the goons we sent off to die in wars. But the neocons fucked up the war-for-profit trick and now all the human gristle is congealing around Trump, who is basically rebranding the Obama 'change' trick for racist simpletons. And not to be overly results oriented but wow, cant knock the hustle.
